Andrew’s Corgis: Royal Walk Post-Arrest

Prince Andrew, the disgraced former Duke of York, has been pictured for the first time since his apprehension last month. The 66-year-old royal was photographed walking his beloved corgis across the sprawling grounds of the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk on March 21st. This marks a significant public appearance following his removal from his longtime residence at the Royal Lodge.

A New Chapter at Sandringham

The ex-royal was seen taking a leisurely stroll with his canine companions, accompanied by a bodyguard, around the picturesque estate. This move to Wood Farm, a property situated on the Royal Family’s traditional winter retreat, occurred last month. It followed King Charles’s decision to have Andrew vacate the Royal Lodge, his Windsor home for many years. This Sandringham outing represents the first time Andrew has been seen in public since his apprehension by Thames Valley Police on February 19th.

Allegations of Sharing Confidential Documents

The former Royal Navy veteran’s recent public visibility comes amidst ongoing scrutiny surrounding his past associations. His apprehension is reportedly linked to allegations of sharing confidential travel documents with the late Jeffrey Epstein during his tenure as a trade envoy between 2001 and 2011.

Reports suggest that in 2010, Andrew allegedly sent notes detailing his holidays to destinations such as Singapore, Vietnam, China, and Hong Kong to Epstein. In the same year, he is also said to have emailed the financier regarding a visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he met Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

An excerpt of a purported email exchange from that time illustrates the nature of their communication: “Hey! You are in big time,” Andrew reportedly wrote to Epstein. “He thinks you are great and would like to introduce you to Sheikh Mohammed, [sic], the crown prince. Doesn’t think it can be done before the end of the year though.” These revelations have cast a shadow over Andrew’s public image and professional conduct.

Sarah Ferguson’s Uncertain Future

Meanwhile, the whereabouts of Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, have remained a subject of speculation since his apprehension. The Duchess of York’s last confirmed public appearance was in December 2025 at the christening of her granddaughter, Athena, the daughter of Princess Beatrice.

Ferguson, also 66, was reportedly required to leave the Royal Lodge, having resided there with Andrew since 2008. Earlier this year, in January, the former Weight Watchers spokeswoman was reported to have spent time at a wellness clinic in Switzerland, a period described as an opportunity to recharge and contemplate her future.

Her next living arrangements are still unconfirmed. Previous reports had suggested she might stay with her elder daughter, Princess Beatrice, 37, or her younger daughter, Princess Eugenie, 35.

An insider recently shared insights into Ferguson’s current situation, suggesting she has been relying on the hospitality of friends. “Sarah has essentially been living out of suitcases for months now,” the source revealed. “She does not have a permanent place she can comfortably call home and has been relying heavily on the generosity of friends who have opened their doors to her.” This period of transition highlights the shifting circumstances for the former Duchess as she navigates her next steps.
