Leitrim native and influencer Jennifer Wrynne is radiating positivity after successfully completing her final radiotherapy session, marking a significant victory in her battle with breast cancer. The news comes as a powerful testament to her resilience and unwavering spirit, offering a beacon of hope to many facing similar challenges.
Jennifer, a talented milliner, received her devastating breast cancer diagnosis in June 2025 at the young age of 36. The shock of the diagnosis was compounded by the fact that it came just two months after the joyous arrival of her daughter, Amelia Rose. This juxtaposition of new life and life-threatening illness undoubtedly presented an immense emotional hurdle.
Her journey through treatment began swiftly. Following her diagnosis, Jennifer underwent lumpectomy surgery in July 2025. This was immediately followed by a rigorous course of cancer treatment, designed to combat the disease and pave the way for recovery. She navigated six rounds of chemotherapy, a gruelling but essential step in her treatment plan.
The next phase of her battle involved 20 rounds of radiotherapy. Sharing her elation and relief, Jennifer posted a heartfelt message on social media: “20/20 Radiotherapy DONE. Can’t believe it. Another one ticked off the list. Breast cancer surgery DONE. Chemotherapy DONE. Radiotherapy DONE.” Her words clearly convey the monumental effort and emotional fortitude required to reach this point.
She further expressed her deep gratitude, adding, “A few more injections until August and then, please God, I will DONE DONE DONE DONE forever. I’m so grateful.” This sentiment underscores her profound appreciation for reaching this crucial milestone and her hopeful outlook for the future.
To mark this momentous occasion, Jennifer indulged in a celebratory meal at the renowned Dion Restaurant in Dublin, a popular spot amongst celebrities.
Reflecting on her achievement, she shared her joy: “Radiotherapy finished and ANY excuse to celebrate with these beauties. Also my first taste of alcohol in God knows how long and OMG it was good. A very happy Monday. I’ve never felt so happy and so grateful.” The simple pleasure of a drink after a long period of abstinence, coupled with the company of loved ones, highlighted the profound sense of freedom and relief she was experiencing.
Jennifer had previously spoken candidly about the profound impact of her diagnosis. In an interview prior to the launch of the Irish Cancer Society’s Daffodil Day 2026, she described how her “life stopped” upon receiving the news in 2024.

“Being diagnosed with cancer at 36-years-old is something you never expect, especially when you’re in the middle of raising a young family,” Jennifer revealed. She emphasised that cancer’s indiscriminate nature, stating, “Sadly, cancer doesn’t discriminate by age.”
Her personal experience powerfully illustrates this point. At the time of her diagnosis, she had recently welcomed her fourth child, and the furthest thing from her mind was a cancer diagnosis. “Life was busy and full and then, suddenly, everything stopped. My world was turned upside down overnight,” she recounted, painting a vivid picture of the abrupt and life-altering nature of her diagnosis.
