Bec Judd’s playful jabs at AFL star husband Chris Judd after 23 years

A Lasting Love and a Strong Partnership

After 23 years together and 16 years of marriage, Bec and Chris Judd have become one of Australia’s most iconic couples. Their relationship has stood the test of time, proving that love can flourish even after decades of togetherness. For Bec, 43, her attraction for her husband, 42, is still as strong as ever, according to her recent candid remarks on her Vain-ish Podcast.

“He’s full keto. You should see his six pack. He is in playing form… he is so hot. He’s amazing. 23 years and I still find him hot,” Bec gushed to her co-host, adding with a laugh that she still gets butterflies whenever he rings her. “When he calls me, I’m like, ‘Oh! It’s Chris Judd.'”

The couple, who are based in Melbourne’s exclusive Brighton area, share four children together. Their journey began in the early 2000s in Perth when they were both on the cusp of adulthood. Bec, then aged 19, was enjoying a boozy Sunday session at Cottesloe Pub in 2002 when she locked eyes on Chris, who had just started playing professionally.

Bec has vivid memories of their first meeting, which she shared in an Instagram Q&A with fans. “It’s weird, I didn’t really have lots of boyfriends growing up and I was very, very, very picky and I saw him and I was like ‘Damn! I like him,'” she said. “I was a bit drunk, I’d had a load of red wine so I was quite confident because I didn’t really used to be confident with guys.”

They dated on and off for around 18 months before finally making things official. The couple married on New Year’s Eve in 2010, with a beautiful ceremony at Carousel in Albert Park.

Defending Her Career and Achievements

Bec’s recent comments come after she faced criticism from a troll who accused her of promoting insecurities in women through her career. The commenter claimed, “Bec Judd amazes me. She’s clearly an intelligent person, yet she chooses to spend her time and energy on frivolous content that promotes perfection and insecurities in women.” They also questioned whether she would consider a career where her looks weren’t celebrated.

In response, Bec decided to highlight some of her accomplishments that many may not be aware of. “Oh you mean like when I wrote a book, or when I hosted a national radio show, or when I worked as a speech pathologist at The Alfred treating patients with traumatic brain injuries, or when I developed a functional assessment tool for head injuries?” she began.

She continued with a list of her achievements: “Or when I hosted a travel program, or when I founded one of Australia’s leading activewear companies, or when I worked on a research paper about how to best assess PTA, or when I travelled to nursing homes treating elderly patients for dysphagia, or when I presented the weather for 9News?”

Bec concluded with a confident statement: “Let me know which one of those careers makes you feel the least amount of jealousy towards me? Yes. I am amazing and a little bit vain too.”

A Life Full of Passion and Purpose

Beyond her public persona, Bec has always been driven by her passion for helping others. Her work as a speech pathologist and her contributions to medical research highlight her dedication to improving lives. She has also made a name for herself in the media, hosting various programs and presenting the weather for 9News.

Her journey has not only been about personal success but also about building a family and supporting her husband, Chris Judd, who is a well-known figure in Australian football. Together, they have created a life filled with love, laughter, and shared goals.

As they continue to navigate life together, Bec and Chris Judd remain a testament to the power of enduring love and mutual support. Their story is one of resilience, growth, and the importance of staying true to oneself.
