Bonnie Wright Shares Exciting News of Her Second Pregnancy

Bonnie Wright, best known for her role as Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter film series, has shared the exciting news that she is expecting her second child. The 35-year-old actress took to Instagram on Sunday to share a heartwarming post featuring photos of her two-year-old son, Elio, kissing her growing baby bump.

In the photos, Bonnie looks radiant in a white T-shirt and trousers as she relaxes on a sofa with her young son. She captioned the post: ‘Two babies on my lap. Our second little earthling joining us this autumn!!’

Her fellow Harry Potter co-star, Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood, responded with a heartfelt message: ‘Ahhh congratulations Bonnie!!’ Many others also expressed their joy, with comments such as ‘The best news’ and ‘Congratulations.’

This is not the first time Bonnie has shared the joy of motherhood. In 2023, she welcomed her first child, Elio Ocean Wright Lococo, with her husband Andrew Lococo. At the time, she posted on social media: ‘Say hello to Elio Ocean Wright Lococo born at home on Tuesday 19th September. We’re all healthy and happy. Andrew and I are so in love with our sun [sic]!’

She continued: ‘So grateful for our birth team that have held our hands throughout and made the journey so joyous and expanding. Birth is the wildest experience!’

After thanking her team of midwives, Bonnie gave a special note of thanks to her husband. She wrote: ‘Lastly thanks to Andrew my rock throughout birth quite literally as I squeezed onto you so tight and you never wavered. Elio has the most tender loving papa. Ok hormonal emotional extra long caption over!’

The couple tied the knot in 2022. Bonnie looked picture-perfect on her wedding day in a beautiful dress, which she later swapped for a silk slip number for the evening party.

Before her marriage to Andrew, Bonnie was previously engaged to actor Jamie Campbell Bower. They met on the set of the final Harry Potter film, where he played Gellert Grindelwald. However, they eventually split up in 2012.

Recently, Bonnie appeared in the HBO Special Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts, where she reunited with her former co-stars. Since her time in the Harry Potter franchise, she has transitioned into filmmaking, directing, and environmental activism.

Bonnie’s journey from a beloved actress to a filmmaker and activist showcases her versatility and passion for making a difference beyond the screen. As she prepares for the arrival of her second child, fans and followers continue to celebrate her life and career.
