This new arrival comes four years after Wright married Andrew Lococo in 2022 and three years after they welcomed their first child, Elio, in September 2023.
Wright made her on-screen debut at age 11 in the first Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, which was released in 2001. Since then, she has continued to build a successful career in entertainment.
In recent years, Wright has become known for her environmental activism. She has founded an environmental kids club called Hello Earthling and has a book and TV show titled Go Gently. Her work focuses on teaching children about sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Reflecting on her early years in the industry, Wright told People in an interview in 2024, “I just feel so grateful that I was able to play Ginny for those 10 years and do my part in her character and hold her for those 10 years.” She mentioned that it is still a “pinch-me moment every time I think about it.”
Wright also shared how the cast and crew were in a “protective bubble” on set, which left them amazed by the fandom’s enthusiasm at Harry Potter premieres. “It never got normal,” she said.
As she prepares for the arrival of her second child, Wright continues to balance her family life with her passion for environmental advocacy. Her journey serves as an inspiration to many, showing the importance of staying true to oneself while making a positive impact on the world.
