Celebrity Traitors Series Two Line-Up Revealed
The line-up for the second series of Celebrity Traitors has been officially announced, featuring a star-studded cast that includes Richard E. Grant, Ross Kemp, and Joe Lycett. The show, which made waves last year with its mix of suspense, betrayal, and humor, is set to return with even more drama.
Last year’s season was one of the most talked-about television events since the show’s debut in 2022. The final episode saw comedian Alan Carr emerge victorious, making him the last Traitor standing after a tense showdown.
This year, the show is expected to bring in even more comedic talent, with names like James Acaster, Joanne McNally, Miranda Hart, Rob Beckett, and Romesh Ranganathan joining the list of confirmed contestants. Once they are assigned as either Faithful or Traitor, they will face off against other celebrities such as Bella Ramsey, James Blunt, and Martin Sheen in a high-stakes game of survival.
However, not everyone is thrilled about the inclusion of Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, who have already become household names on television. Some fans expressed their disappointment on social media, with one user joking that it was “inevitable” that the pair would appear again. Another sarcastically remarked that it was “thank god we’re getting more Rob and Romesh,” while others suggested they might be better off staying home.
Despite the mixed reactions, some fans are excited about the casting. One user described the decision as “excellent,” while another said they were “super excited” about the new additions.

A Double Act on the Big Stage
Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan have previously worked together on Rob and Romesh Vs, a Sky One series where they took on various challenges in sports and entertainment. The show first aired in 2017 and recently completed its eighth series, including an episode where the duo performed Romeo and Juliet at the Globe Theatre.
Individually, both comedians have appeared on shows like Last One Laughing and Taskmaster. Romesh currently hosts The Weakest Link on BBC One, where he works alongside Julie Hesmondhalgh, a former Coronation Street star. He has also made appearances on Rob’s podcast, Parenting Hell, co-hosted by Josh Widdicombe.
