Celeste Barber, the renowned comedian and actor, has recently revealed her new Gold Coast bachelorette pad in a feature that highlights her luxurious lifestyle. The 43-year-old star invited Marie Claire Australia Lifestyle into her home for the first time, showcasing its hotel-inspired interiors designed in collaboration with interior designer Dominee Gessner.

According to the interview, Barber’s vision was to create a space that feels like “the best hotel I have ever stayed in.” She drew inspiration from iconic locations such as the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles and Madame Reve Hotel in Paris. “The brief we were going for was an edgy hotel,” she shared.

Barber described her home as a sanctuary where she can unwind after her busy touring schedule. She is currently on an 11-date tour of the UK and Europe with her show, Backup Dancer. “My home is my sanctuary because I work so much. I just love going home, locking down, closing up those curtains and not leaving,” she told Marie Claire Australia Lifestyle.

The bathroom features an egg-shaped freestanding bath and strip lighting, while the luxury kitchen includes a butler’s pantry and pink marble. “I put in a request to get the pinkest possible part of the stone that I could. And then where it joins above the oven, it looks like a vulva, which I love to remind my teenage boys at breakfast,” she said.

Other notable features include bold artworks by artist David Bromley, ’70s-inspired furnishings, pendant lighting, sheer curtains, and a large print of Barber performing live on stage hanging above the couch in the lounge room. Interior designer Gessner praised Barber’s style, calling her “the perfect client.”

“It helps when someone can make really strong decisions,” Gessner added. “Celeste’s style is eclectic and arty, and she’s open as well, which makes her the perfect client.”

Barber’s latest property move comes after her surprise split from husband Api Robin, whom she once affectionately referred to as ‘Hot Husband’ on her Instagram account. The couple, who had been married for 20 years, announced their decision to end their relationship via an Instagram post on February 13.

Robin shared a heartfelt message about the break-up: “The past few months have been incredibly challenging and deeply heartbreaking for us both. After much reflection, the decision has been made to separate. There is still love and respect between us, but sadly we are at capacity and have come to recognize we may want different things. Our priority remains our children and their well-being. We kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this.”

The couple shares two sons together, and Robin also has two daughters from a previous relationship. In 2025, Barber and Robin made a tidy profit after selling their former home on the NSW Central Coast for $1.045 million. They originally purchased a five-bedroom house in Long Jetty for $565,000 in 2014. The couple lived in the double-storey 1980s house with their children before moving to a penthouse apartment in Tweed Heads for $1.175 million in 2019.

Celeste Barber gained international fame through her Instagram parodies of celebrities, amassing 9.6 million followers, including high-profile figures like Reese Witherspoon, Amy Schumer, Cindy Crawford, and Tom Ford. In 2024, she launched her makeup brand, BOOIE Beauty, further solidifying her presence in the entertainment and beauty industries.
