Coleen Rooney is set to celebrate her 40th birthday in style, with a series of ‘beautiful and boozy’ events at her £20 million Cheshire mansion. The I’m A Celebrity star is reportedly preparing for an extravagant party that will take place over the bank holiday weekend, marking this significant milestone in her life.
The celebration is expected to be a grand affair, with hundreds of bottles of champagne on ice. A massive white marquee has been erected in the 50-acre grounds of her home, providing a perfect setting for the festivities. This event will bring together Coleen’s closest friends and family, including her husband Wayne and their four sons: Kai, 16, Klay, 12, Kit, ten, and eight-year-old Cass.
A Star-Studded Guest List
The guest list for the party includes some notable names, such as Wayne’s footballer friends like Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, and Darren Fletcher. Additionally, Coleen’s WAG pals, including Annie Kilner and Abbey Clancy, are also expected to attend. The event promises to be a night to remember, with caterers and staff ensuring everything runs smoothly. Insiders have confirmed that no expense has been spared for the occasion.
An insider shared with The Sun: “Coleen loves a good knees-up. She can afford a lovely lifestyle and everything at the party will be classy and beautifully done. But for her, plenty of booze, good music and her family is all she will want. There’s going to be live music and you can guarantee Wayne will be getting up on the microphone. He loves to sing and will be keen to give everyone a tune or two.”
A Special Message from Coleen
Before the big day, Coleen expressed her excitement about the upcoming celebrations. She said: “I’m looking forward to it, I love a birthday and a celebration. I have decided to enjoy a couple of different celebrations with family and friends over the year, and with my birthday falling over Easter weekend, some friends are away — so any opportunity to extend the celebrations…”
Coleen’s Unique Breakfast Routine
In addition to her birthday plans, Coleen recently revealed her unique approach to breakfast for her children. Known for running a tight ship at home, the mum-of-four has taken on the role of a private chef each morning. Speaking to Dominique McMullan for IMAGE magazine’s podcast, Coleen shared that she cooks whatever her sons want for their breakfast every day before school.
Her breakfast menu includes a variety of options, ranging from pancakes and cereal to bacon and toasties. Notably, her 10-year-old son Kit has a rather mature choice of steak and eggs for his morning meal.
“they all have different breakfasts,” she explained. “I have friends that say, ‘Why don’t you just put cereal out on the sides and just let them have to help themselves’. However, I like to know that they’ve gone out with a full stomach, with something that they actually wanted.”
Coleen continued: “Because if they don’t like the lunch in school, at least they’ve had something in the morning that they like.” When asked if she cooks to order, she replied, “Yeah. We have steak, we have bacon, we have pancakes. We have… I have got one who will, like, mostly have cereal. He’s the fussy one, he’s quite plain. He eats quite plain. We have toasties. Yeah, there’s a lot of different things.”
Dominique then asked about the option of steak, to which Coleen responded: “My 10 year old, yeah. So steak and eggs some days. Lots of people will say, ‘Oh that’s quite extreme’. But it’s healthy. He eats well. He is a good eater my 10 year old. He eats everything. He loves his food.”
She added: “So like me 12 year old, he’s quite plain. You know he likes pasta and stuff. So I do love the fact that I’ve got one who eats his meals. When we go to certain places I just know it’s a safe bet because it has pasta. But then if we have ours, then the 10 year old’s like, ‘Oh, can I have some of that?’ So he ends up swapping. It’s nice.”
