Danhausen’s Journey to WWE Stardom
Danhausen’s journey in the world of professional wrestling has captured the attention of fans across the globe. His recent appearances on WWE’s weekly programming have been met with enthusiasm, as he has shared the ring with some of the top names in the industry. However, his rise to fame was something that Conan O’Brien seemed to foresee years ago.
Conan O’Brien Recognizes Danhausen’s Potential
On the latest episode of Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, O’Brien reflected on his first encounter with Danhausen nearly five years ago. He shared details of their meeting and expressed how he always believed the wrestler had the potential to become a major star.
During their initial interaction, Danhausen introduced his unique persona to O’Brien. The comedian recalled how Danhausen explained the inspiration behind his character.
“…he explained to me when we did this very first fan episode that he had loosely based his character, his wrestling character, on me if I was an interdimensional demon, which seems redundant to me,” said Conan.
The conversation between the two went deeper, as they bonded over comedy, performance, and a shared passion for entertaining audiences. Conan also highlighted how impressed he was by Danhausen’s dedication to his craft, especially his willingness to go above and beyond early in his career.
“Danhausen told me that he had been grinding away for the past eight years, driving 12 hours every weekend, just to be able to get up in front of people and wrestle. And this is a guy who just applied an incredible work ethic to his passion, and I was so impressed with this fellow,” said Conan.
A Testament to Hard Work and Passion
O’Brien emphasized how Danhausen’s journey serves as a powerful example of what can be achieved through dedication and passion. Reflecting on the wrestler’s rise, he pointed out that consistent hard work can turn aspirations into reality.
“And this is proof again that if you can marry hard work to your passion, you can go places,” said Conan, as he congratulated Danhausen on his WWE debut and expressed pride in how far the former AEW talent has come.
A Special Gift from Madison Square Garden
Danhausen recently made a memorable debut at Madison Square Garden, where he had a segment with IShowSpeed backstage. WWE posted a video of the goofy wrestler receiving a special gift from MSG earlier this week. The gift was a gold plaque celebrating his debut at the world’s most famous arena.

In a gesture of goodwill, Danhausen also returned the favor by gifting a representative from Madison Square Garden an “I Love New York” hat, jokingly assuring that none of them would be cursed.
Upcoming Events and Excitement
Danhausen was also featured during the show, where he revealed that Saturday Night’s Main Event is set to take place at MSG on July 18. This upcoming event is sure to generate even more excitement among fans, as it marks another milestone in Danhausen’s growing career.
