Cruz Beckham’s New Music Video and Family Dynamics
Cruz Beckham, the youngest son of David and Victoria Beckham, has made a bold move with his latest music video for the track “Waste Your Pain.” The video, which features him in just his shirt and boxers, draws inspiration from Tom Cruise’s iconic performance in Risky Business. This creative choice highlights Cruz’s playful and expressive side as he explores themes of self-love, acceptance, and moving on from a toxic relationship.
The song, recorded with his band The Breakers, is a heartfelt reflection of Cruz’s journey. He sings about finally seeing his life moving forward and feeling “free at last,” marking a significant emotional milestone. The music video was produced by Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov, who have worked with notable artists such as Kim Gordon, Joji, and Charli xcx.
Cruz shared the video on Instagram, captioning it: “WASTE YOUR PAIN MV IS FINALLY YOURS. Forever grateful for you all.” Fans responded enthusiastically, with many expressing their love for the track and the visual style. Comments included:
- “I LOVE IT”
- “Great tune.”
- “First rule of making a music video: HAVE FUN MAKING IT!”
- “absolutely banging video”
- “It’s so gooood!! I Love it! Well done”
- “Worth the wait.”
This release follows the success of Cruz’s debut headline tour, which saw him and The Breakers play grassroots venues across the UK before concluding with three nights at London’s Courtyard Theatre. Reviews praised his talent and energy, with The London Standard noting that he is “impish, likeable, possessed of a clear talent.” CLASH highlighted the band’s potential, while Metro suggested that Cruz might be “a rock star in the making.”
Brooklyn Beckham’s Latest Move and Family Tensions
Meanwhile, Brooklyn Beckham has continued to make headlines with his public statements about his marriage to Nicola Peltz. In a recent Instagram post, he shared an anniversary card to his wife, stating: “Happy 4 year anniversary baby I love you with all my heart. We have been through so much together but today we are stronger than ever and you are my best friend. I can’t wait to grow old together with you.”
Brooklyn’s message came just days after he appeared to take another subtle swipe at his family by showing off a new tattoo on his left hand, which read: “Our little bubble.” This tattoo, along with his recent venture into the hot sauce business, reflects his growing independence and focus on his personal life.
Brooklyn launched Cloud 23 in 2024, a spicy condiment named after his father’s football jersey number. However, the brand faced legal challenges when Swiss company ON objected to the trademark, citing similarities with their Cloud shoes. Despite this, a resolution was reached, allowing the trademark to be registered.
In January, Brooklyn cut ties with his family, accusing them of controlling him for most of his life. Since then, he has covered up several tattoos that once honored his family, including one dedicated to his father. However, he still retains the “brotherhood” tattoo on his right leg, as well as a ballerina tattoo on his calf, a tribute to his sister Harper.
