“We will bowl first, as it is the first match at home, so I want to see how the wicket behaves. It is looking hard and also on the dry side. We are feeling confident after winning the previous game. The top order knows that there are batters who can score runs if it fails,” said Axar Patel.

Mumbai Indians’ stand-in skipper, Suryakumar Yadav, is not worried about losing the toss. He mentioned that Hardik Pandya is unwell and will not be playing in the match.
“Hardik Pandya is unwell, so he is not playing. There is a lot of positivity in the camp after winning the first game in 13 years. We are happy to bat first as the toss is irrelevant. It doesn’t matter if we bat or bowl first. We will try to put runs on the board,” he added.
