Erika Kirk Accused of ‘Ghosting’ Turning Point USA Halftime Show Amid Public Scrutiny

Erika Kirk has come under scrutiny for not attending the “All-American” halftime show organized by Turning Point USA. The event, which was positioned as an alternative to the Super Bowl LX halftime performance headlined by Latin superstar Bad Bunny, featured pro-Donald Trump musician Kid Rock and other country music artists.

The widow, who became CEO of her late husband Charlie’s right-wing nonprofit after his shocking assassination in September 2025, was notably absent from the event on Sunday, February 8.

“She’s Recovering From the Last Show”

Social media users took to platforms like X to express their opinions about Erika’s absence. One user wrote, “The Turning Point USA halftime show was so bad that even Erika Kirk didn’t show up,” while another joked that she “ghosted” the concert.

Another comment suggested, “She’s recovering from the LAST show,” adding, “Apparently, when she shot fireworks from her c—– as part of her show, it singed her nether region.” A fourth person quipped, “Erika Kirk was probably at the Bad Bunny halftime show!”

“Charlie Would’ve Absolutely Loved It”

Despite her absence, Erika seemingly tuned in to the event, which was streamed live on YouTube. She described the show as “incredible” and shared a post on X on Sunday night, stating, “Charlie would’ve absolutely loved it.”

She continued, “It’s okay to love Jesus and your country. Ultimately, this is what it’s all about, making Heaven crowded.” In the same post, she added, “I love you Charlie baby, this is all for you,” and included a video tribute to her late husband that aired after the concert.

Candace Owens Claims TPUSA Faked Halftime Show Viewer Numbers

Meanwhile, political commentator Candace Owens accused Turning Point USA of fabricating viewer numbers for the halftime show. She commented on an X post that displayed the livestream’s viewer count at just under 6,000, writing, “The problem with people who have a lot of money they didn’t earn, is that they tend to have no idea how stuff actually works.”

In a separate post, she claimed, “We have an organization that scammed its views by paying platform advertisers, followed by influencers to pretend they broke records.”

Candace, who previously worked as a communications director for the charity from 2017 to 2019, has been a vocal critic of Erika since she took over her late husband’s role following his murder on September 10, 2025.

The controversial podcaster has repeatedly criticized Erika, 37, for her “bizarre behavior” after her husband’s tragic death at age 31. Erika has made numerous public appearances and recently had several TPUSA staffers fired.
