Harmon & Floyd: Decades Later, Love Rekindled

Angie Harmon Rekindles Romance with Old Flame After 27 Years

It seems Valentine’s Day brought a delightful surprise for actress Angie Harmon, as she announced a heartwarming rekindling of a romance with an old flame, Tony Floyd. The Rizzoli & Isles star took to Instagram on February 14th to share the exciting news, revealing that she and Floyd, a model and photographer, have reconnected after nearly three decades.

Harmon’s post featured a nostalgic Kodak snapshot of the pair alongside more recent photos showcasing their undeniable chemistry and public displays of affection. “Happy Valentine’s Day Tony Floyd @studioavafilms …. 27 years later!” she captioned the sweet post, adding a string of loving emojis. “I love you!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

Floyd, whose photographic work has graced the pages of prestigious publications like W Magazine and T Magazine, shared his own touching account of their reunion on Instagram. He revealed that their story began in their teenage years in Europe, where they first met in Italy at the age of eighteen. Both were young, ambitious individuals chasing dreams in the competitive worlds of modelling and trying to make a name for themselves.

“We met in Italy at eighteen — two kids scrambling for work, chasing modeling dreams, trying to build a life without starving along the way,” Floyd wrote. “There was a spark between us even then… but the timing wasn’t right.”

Their paths crossed again in their twenties when both were pursuing acting careers in Los Angeles. Floyd acknowledged Harmon’s talent, admitting, “You were always better than me. But we were together. And we were in love.” However, life’s unpredictable nature intervened once more. While Harmon found her passion on screen, Floyd discovered his in shaping surfboards in Costa Mesa. “Still, the timing wasn’t ours,” he explained.

The narrative of their reconnection, Floyd suggested, felt almost fated. “And then, after twenty-seven years, our paths crossed again — by chance, or maybe by fate,” he continued. “Now the timing is right. Now is our time, my love. My strength. My everything. My Angie. I love you beyond anything words can hold.”

Floyd’s heartfelt tribute emphasized that Harmon remains the same radiant person he first met. “You are still the same kind, loving, breathtaking, passionate fighter I met thirty-five years ago on that subway platform in Italy,” he declared. “Only now, we know who we are. And we know what we have. Let’s roll, my Valentine.”

This romantic resurgence comes after a series of notable relationships for Harmon. In December 2019, she became engaged to Days of Our Lives actor Greg Vaughan, a relationship that concluded in July 2021.

Prior to that, Harmon was famously married to former NFL star Jason Sehorn. Their engagement was a memorable moment, happening live during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in 2000. After 13 years of marriage, the couple divorced in 2014.

Harmon and Sehorn are parents to three daughters: Finley, Avery, and Emery. At the time of their separation, reports suggested that their demanding professional schedules, which often involved spending significant time apart, played a role in the breakdown of their marriage. Sources indicated that the prolonged absences made it challenging to maintain their relationship, with one parent often taking on the primary responsibilities of raising their children while the other was away working.
