Upon scanning the QR code, users are directed to a simple bedroom scene with beige walls and patterned sheets covering the bed.
In the room, there is a pinboard displaying two gig tickets – one blue and one pink – along with a bedside table scattered with plectrums. Straight ahead, the same poster that has been spotted around London is displayed, with an analogue clock stopped at 1:41pm on Saturday, 11 April.
Harper also noted that when the link is shared with a friend, it comes with an image featuring the question: “Who the F Are the Cockroaches?” This phrase echoes the famous “Who the F is Mick Jagger?” t-shirt worn by Keith Richards in a 1975 portrait by Ken Regan. The text is written in the same typeface, adding another layer of intrigue to the mystery.
The Independent has reached out to the Rolling Stones for comment, but as of now, no official response has been received.
It has been over two years since the release of “Hackney Diamonds,” which many critics hailed as the band’s best work in decades.
