Jacqueline Jossa Calls Time on Marriage to Dan Osborne Amidst Tumultuous Relationship
Jacqueline Jossa, the beloved actress known for her role in EastEnders, has reportedly initiated divorce proceedings, ending her nine-year marriage to former The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) personality Dan Osborne. The 33-year-old star has apparently reached a breaking point, having “mentally checked out” of their often turbulent relationship for good.
The couple, who share two young daughters, Ella, 11, and Mia, seven, exchanged vows in 2017 after a four-year courtship. Their journey together has been marked by significant challenges, including numerous accusations of infidelity levelled against Osborne.
Osborne, 34, who also has a son, Teddy, 12, from a previous relationship, is said to be in a state of shock and panic following Jossa’s decision to permanently sever their marital ties. Sources close to the couple suggest that Jossa has finally had enough after years of navigating instability.
“After all Jac’s been through, she’s finally had enough,” an insider revealed. “They’ve been living separate lives all this year and she’s over it. There’s only so many times she can put herself through living in limbo and taking him back.”

The same source added, “She has mentally checked out of the relationship for the first time and Dan has panicked. He’s worried the grass isn’t greener and has had the shock of his life that he’s pushed Jac too far this time.”
The couple’s relationship began in 2013 after they met at an awards ceremony. Romance rumours quickly surfaced, even as Osborne’s then-partner, Megan Tomlin, was pregnant with their son, Teddy. Two years later, Osborne proposed during a romantic getaway to Greece, with the pair officially tying the knot at Cheshire Manor House two years after that.
Their family expanded with the arrival of Ella Selina in 2015, followed by their second daughter, Mia, in 2018. However, the years since their wedding have been fraught with difficulties. Osborne has faced repeated allegations of infidelity, including claims of affairs with former Love Island contestants Gabby Allen and Alexandra Cane, an alleged threesome, and his own admissions of unfaithfulness.
One particularly challenging period occurred just eight months into Jossa’s second pregnancy, when the couple split following a series of heated arguments. At the time, it was exclusively reported that Jossa had reached out to a mystery woman to question her about an alleged night of passion with her estranged husband.

Jossa reportedly heard rumours that Osborne had been intimate with the woman during the summer prior to their wedding, just months after they had exchanged vows. In her message, Jossa is said to have asked the woman for the truth, stating she wouldn’t be angry if the claims were accurate.
The woman involved later spoke to the press, claiming she had a one-night stand with Osborne after they met by chance in an Essex bar. She alleged that Osborne told her he was “on a break from Jacqueline and things weren’t working out” at the time of their encounter. The woman expressed surprise and guilt upon learning Osborne was still with Jossa and felt compelled to share her story after Jossa’s direct contact.
Despite the marital strife, Jossa confirmed that Osborne would remain involved in the birth of their child. She candidly discussed the state of their relationship during an appearance on the daytime talk show Loose Women. “I’m good, honestly,” she stated at the time. “I think, when stuff goes on at home, it’s not normal for it to be everywhere. But it’s not necessarily true or the reasons why you’re not getting on at the moment. That’s all I really want to say but I’m all good.”
The persistent rumours surrounding Osborne’s fidelity continued to surface throughout their relationship. In 2018, he was first linked to Gabby Allen after they were photographed together on a yacht in Marbella. When a fan commented on their apparent closeness, Osborne defended their interaction, stating they were merely “speaking and laughing with a friend.”
Gabby Allen’s then-boyfriend, Marcel Somerville, also accused her of infidelity with Osborne. However, Allen vehemently denied these claims, asserting her unwavering faithfulness throughout her relationship with Somerville. Despite these denials, The Sun reported that Osborne had sent “flirty messages” to Allen, even months after they had both strongly refuted claims of an illicit encounter.
Further speculation arose in March 2019, when rumours circulated that Osborne had kissed Love Island contestant Alexandra Cane in a nightclub. Both parties denied these allegations at the time.
The ongoing saga of their relationship has clearly taken its toll, culminating in Jossa’s decision to pursue a divorce and, as insiders suggest, leaving Osborne in a state of disbelief and regret.
