Jo Whiley’s Glamorous Red Carpet Appearance After Completing the London Half Marathon
Jo Whiley, a 60-year-old DJ, made a stunning appearance at the Olivier Awards just hours after finishing the London Half Marathon on Sunday. She swapped her running shoes for glamorous Sole Bliss heels, showcasing her style as she joined West End stars at the prestigious ceremony held at the Royal Albert Hall.
The presenter caught everyone’s attention in an orange Essential Antwerp maxi dress with knot detailing, which highlighted her toned arms perfectly. With her blonde hair swept back, she stepped into the Riviera heel by Sole Bliss, crafted from soft Italian silver leather and featuring three layers of underfoot cushioning, a wide toe-box, and a stretch panel designed to accommodate difficult joints.
Earlier in the day, Jo shared photos from the race on her Instagram Stories, including images of her running alongside fellow broadcaster Clara Amfo. She later celebrated her achievement by showing off her medal and flexing her muscles for a fun photo.

Actor, comedian, and The Traitors star Nick Mohammed hosted the star-studded event, which was broadcast on the BBC. Paddington The Musical had an incredible night, winning several awards, including Best New Musical, Best Set Design, Best Costume Design, Best Director, Best Actor In A Musical, Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical, and Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical. The musical secured seven out of its 11 nominations.
Into the Woods, which received 11 nominations, won Best Lighting Design and Best Musical Revival. All My Sons triumphed in the Best Revival and Best Actor in a Supporting Role categories. Rosamund Pike won Best Actress after receiving critical acclaim for her role in the legal drama Inter Alia at Wyndham’s Theatre in the West End. She beat nominees Cate Blanchett, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Julia McDermott, and Rosie Sheehy.

Rosamund, known for her roles in Die Another Day (2002) and Gone Girl (2014), described her theatrical return as a “huge, exhilarating risk.” During her acceptance speech, she said, “This is by far the most nerve-wracking performance I will make in the next few weeks. It is one thing to stand on stage and do 100 minutes of somebody else’s beautifully written words. It is quite another thing to be relying on my own words.”
She added, “I haven’t done any theatre for 14 years. It was a huge risk, an exhilarating risk, to come back and be invited by the National Theatre – the home of so much great, wonderful work – to do this special play.”
Rachel Zegler, 34, won Best Actress in a Musical for Evita at The London Palladium. Jack Holden was awarded Best Actor for his multi-role performance in Kenrex, a one-man crime thriller, in a win for independent theatre. He was up against Bryan Cranston, Sean Hayes, Tom Hiddleston, and David Shields.
Coronation Street’s Julie Hesmondhalgh secured Best Actress In A Supporting Role for Punch at the Young Vic & Apollo theatre. Meanwhile, Paapa Essiedu won Best Actor In A Supporting Role for All My Sons at Wyndham’s theatre.
The Boy At The Back Of The Class, adapted by Nick Ahad, scooped Best Family Show.
