Lauren Wood Reacts to Ex-Boyfriend Harrison Solomon Joining Love Island All Stars
Lauren Wood has publicly addressed her ex-boyfriend, Harrison Solomon, on social media after he entered the Love Island All Stars villa as a new contestant. The incident occurred on Monday night, and it came as a shock to Lauren, who had only recently ended their relationship just two months prior.
Harrison, 23, and Lauren, 26, first met during the previous season of Love Island. Their relationship was a significant part of the show, but it eventually came to an end. Lauren watched the latest episode where Harrison entered the villa and was taken aback when he described their relationship as “cool and friends” while flirting with other contestants.
In one of her posts, Lauren covered her mouth in disbelief and captioned the video: “I can’t believe it.” She later shared another clip that read: “I can’t believe the words coming out of his mouth.”
This reaction comes after Lauren had previously expressed her feelings about the possibility of Harrison joining the All Stars edition. She told The Sun that she would be “gutted” if he were to enter the villa in South Africa. Her comments reflected the emotional complexity of seeing someone she once loved on a different TV show.

Despite the emotional response, Lauren emphasized that their split was mutual and that there was no bad blood between them. She stated: “Obviously he meant a lot to me and he still does mean a lot to me, he means a lot.”
Meanwhile, just weeks before entering the villa, Harrison revealed that he still had “a lot of love” for Lauren but found it challenging to maintain their relationship due to his busy schedule. In an interview with The Daily Mail, he explained:
“Life’s obviously been really full-on since leaving the villa. Between work, travel, and everything going on, it just became really hard to find time to really focus on each other. I didn’t want it to get to that point. I don’t think either of us did, but we just had to have a conversation. We sat down, had an open and honest conversation and have decided to part ways, but there’s no bad blood at all.”

During his first stint on Love Island, Harrison caused quite a stir with his involvement in a dramatic love triangle with Lauren and US star Toni Laites. Toni eventually won the show alongside her current boyfriend, Cach Mercer, and has since moved to London.
Harrison left the villa under controversial circumstances after Lauren was eliminated. His actions sparked backlash from viewers, and Women’s Aid criticized him for reinforcing a culture that trivializes violence against women and girls.
Reflecting on the incident four months later, Harrison acknowledged the criticism and admitted he had made mistakes. He said:
“Obviously, it wasn’t nice seeing any of that stuff when I first came out of the show and how it affected my family and stuff like that. But like I said before in previous interviews, I’ve made mistakes, but I like to think that I’ve grown from them. I feel like I’m a different person now than I was six months ago, and I feel like that’s all I can really do is grow from the situation and grow from my experience in there.”
Lauren’s public reaction highlights the emotional toll of seeing an ex-partner move on and enter new opportunities, especially in the spotlight. While their relationship ended amicably, the recent developments have reignited discussions about past events and personal growth.
