Nicola Peltz has taken a bold step in starting the year 2026 with a fresh online presence, which has involved removing all references to her husband Brooklyn Beckham’s family from her Instagram account. This move appears to be part of a broader effort to distance herself from the Beckham clan.

The actress, who is 31 years old and known for her role in Bates Motel, has deleted a previous post that was a heartfelt birthday message to Victoria Beckham, her mother-in-law. The post included a tender photo of Peltz alongside the fashion designer and featured affectionate words.
“Happy birthday to my beautiful mil [mother-in-law] Victoria Beckham,” she wrote in the caption. “I love you so much and love being your dance partner forever.”
Victoria, who is now 51, responded publicly with warmth, commenting, “Love you so much!!!!! xxxxxxx kisses xxxxxxx.”

This change in Peltz’s social media activity comes at a time when tensions between Brooklyn and his family have been growing. According to reports from the Daily Mail, Brooklyn, who is 26, has instructed his parents to communicate with him only through their legal representatives. He has reportedly asked them to stop contacting him directly or making public comments about him on social media.
The strain between Brooklyn and his family became more visible last April, when it was reported that he was not speaking to his brother Romeo Beckham. This reportedly stemmed from issues involving Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.

Brooklyn’s frustration reached a peak after claims surfaced that he was being “controlled” by Nicola, with some suggesting he was a “hostage.” A source revealed, “David was told to speak to them via [law firm] Schillings. That was the only way for them to communicate.”

Adding to the family conflict, Brooklyn and Nicola chose not to attend David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration in May 2025. In October 2025, an insider told Us Weekly that Brooklyn had “no interest” in reconciling with the Beckham family at this point.
To further emphasize their separation, Brooklyn recently blocked his family on Instagram, marking a clear effort to disengage from the ongoing drama surrounding the Beckham family.
