Perez Hilton, a well-known figure in the entertainment industry, was urgently taken to the hospital after medical professionals identified a “massive” blood clot within his body.
In a video posted on Instagram on Thursday, April 2, the 48-year-old influencer shared his experience. “Last night, I started experiencing significant soreness and pain in one of my legs. By this morning, it had worsened dramatically. I couldn’t even walk, so I had to use a walker,” he explained.
Perez also mentioned that he had previously been under the care of the same medical team during a 21-day hospital stay when he fought and overcame sepsis. “I’ve already seen some of the nurses who took care of me back then. Now I’m back here, and I need to undergo emergency surgery.”
He expressed concern about the potential dangers of the blood clot. “If that blood clot had traveled to my lungs or my heart, it could have been very serious,” he said. However, he remained optimistic about his recovery. “I’m happy because we caught it early, and the amazing medical team at Southern Hills is going to make this a piece of cake. God’s got me.”
Perez also encouraged his followers to offer their support. “If you want to send prayers, that would be appreciated.”
