Piers Morgan’s Wife Celia Walden Thrust into Spotlight After Heated Interview
A recent television interview has unexpectedly placed Celia Walden, the wife of outspoken British journalist and broadcaster Piers Morgan, firmly in the public eye. The stir began during a contentious interview between Morgan and controversial influencer Harrison Sullivan, widely known as HSTikkyTokky, who was recently featured in the Netflix documentary Inside the Manosphere. While the exchange between Morgan and Sullivan dominated discussions regarding the documentary’s themes, it also ignited a wave of curiosity surrounding Walden and her marriage.
The Interview That Went South
The interview on Piers Morgan’s show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, initially focused on Sullivan’s homophobic statements made during the Louis Theroux-hosted documentary. Sullivan had controversially stated he would “disown” his son if he were gay, remarks that Morgan clearly intended to challenge.
However, the conversation took a sharp and personal turn when Sullivan, seemingly to deflect criticism, made what Morgan later described as “false claims” about him. Things rapidly escalated, leading Morgan to confront Sullivan directly.
“I watched the documentary, and I think you’re a f–king idiot,” Morgan declared. He continued his scathing assessment: “I think you’re a sexist, misogynist, homophobic twerp got exposed in a global way by Netflix, by Louis Theroux, for what you are. You’re a little halfwit.”
Sullivan’s retaliation was swift and aimed squarely at Morgan’s personal life. He produced a photograph of Celia Walden, apparently sourced from her Instagram account. The image, taken in 2022, showed Walden relaxing by a swimming pool next to a sign that read, ‘Wanted: pool boy. No experience needed’.
Sullivan used the photo to taunt Morgan, saying, “As soon as you’re away – what is this? ‘Applications are open?’ That’s your ting, bro. That’s your girl. Cooked.”
Visibly angered by the personal attack, Morgan abruptly ended the interview. “Let’s end this,” he stated, standing up. “I’m not doing this, guys, it’s pointless.”
Who is Celia Walden?
The unexpected focus on Celia Walden has prompted many to learn more about her, particularly given Morgan’s own history of making provocative statements.
Walden, who is 50 years old, was born in Paris but spent her formative years growing up in England. She established herself as a journalist in London.

Both Walden and Morgan began their careers at The Daily Telegraph. Their paths first crossed in 2006, not in a professional capacity, but at a public speaking event where Morgan was delivering a speech that, by his own admission, went disastrously wrong.
Morgan recounted the anecdote on Heart FM in 2019, describing how he “absolutely died on my backside to the extent that they were openly jeering me.” He recalled that the only person he noticed laughing was Walden, whom he had never met before. Intrigued, he asked, “‘Who’s that?'”
Walden’s candid response, “‘That just bombed,’” initially surprised Morgan. He admitted, “I thought that was hilarious,” but Walden clarified, “she was laughing really at my discomfort.” Morgan concluded that this moment revealed her suitability as a partner, stating, “So I realised then that she would be perfect bride material!”
The couple tied the knot in 2010 in the picturesque village of Swinbrook, England. They have one daughter together, 14-year-old Elise. Elise is the youngest of Morgan’s four children; he has three sons from his previous marriage.
Celia Walden continues her work as a features writer and columnist for The Daily Telegraph. She has also authored several books, spanning both fiction and non-fiction genres. The family currently divides their time between residences in London, Sussex, and Los Angeles.
