Pixie Geldof Dines with Friends on Sister Peaches’ 12th Anniversary

Pixie Geldof Celebrates Life and Legacy

Pixie Geldof, the 35-year-old model and daughter of Sir Bob Geldof, recently enjoyed a relaxed lunch with friends in Primrose Hill, London. This event took place ahead of the 12th anniversary of her late sister Peaches’ passing, marking another chapter in the family’s journey through loss and resilience.

The Easter weekend began with a lavish meal at Lemonia restaurant, where Pixie was seen in a stylish black leather jacket and dark-rimmed sunglasses, basking in the bank holiday sunshine. Her appearance highlighted her continued presence in the public eye, even as she navigates the complexities of her family’s history.

Peaches, who passed away at the age of 25 on April 7th, 2014, from a heroin overdose, shared a tragic fate with her mother, Paula, who died in 2000. The couple had three children together: Fifi, Pixie, and Peaches, before their divorce in 1996. After Paula’s death, Bob remarried Jeanne Marine in 2015, and she has played a significant role in raising his children.

Despite the public nature of their lives, the Geldof family has managed to maintain a sense of normalcy away from the spotlight. They each have their own families and lives, though they remain connected by shared memories and experiences.

As part of one of Britain’s most famous families, the Geldofs once lived under constant public scrutiny. However, following the tragedies that struck the family in the Noughties, their paths took a different direction. Bob Geldof adopted Paula’s daughter Tiger Lily, whom he shared with the late Michael Hutchence. He became her legal guardian and officially adopted her in 2007, determined to keep her away from the entertainment industry.

Bob has often credited his second wife, Jeanne, for helping him raise his daughters. He once said that his children “wouldn’t have survived” without her support. In a moment of emotional clarity, Bob proposed to Jeanne just days after Peaches’ death, describing it as a moment that “brought air into the room” when Fifi and Pixie were “in agony.”

Jeanne’s influence also helped Tiger Lily navigate the difficult period following her mother’s death. Gerry Agar, a close associate, noted that Tiger was “totally raised and totally loved by Bob’s wife Jeanne,” emphasizing the stability she found in her new family.

Tiger is the last of Bob’s children to get married, following Pixie and Fifi, who tied the knot in 2017 and 2016 respectively. Pixie married These New Puritans drummer George Barnett in a lavish ceremony in Majorca in 2017. Close friends Alexa and Daisy Lowe served as bridesmaids, and guests included notable figures such as Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, and Nick Grimshaw.

The couple has a daughter, born in August 2021, though they have kept her private and have not revealed her name. Pixie has built a successful career in modeling, beginning with her cover of Tatler in 2008. She has also explored the music industry as the lead singer of the band Violet and released her own record, I’m Yours, in November 2016.

While she keeps her family life private, Pixie and George are often seen together at events. Most recently, they made a stylish appearance at Milan Fashion Week in February.

Fifi, who has chosen to avoid the public eye and works in PR, married her husband Andrew Robertson in 2016. Their wedding took place at St Mary Magdalene and St Lawrence church in Kent, the same church where her mother and Peaches are buried. Fifi decided not to have Pixie and Tiger Lily as bridesmaids, feeling it was not right to have her sisters by her side without Peaches present.

Fifi has referred to herself as the “unknown Geldof,” having actively chosen to step away from the limelight that has defined much of her family’s legacy.
