Price Denies Andrews Punched Katona’s Boyfriend in Dubai

Katie Price Slams “Punch-Up” Rumours Amidst Dubai Holiday Drama

Reality TV star Katie Price has forcefully refuted claims of a physical altercation involving her new husband, Lee Andrews, and her friend Kerry Katona’s boyfriend, Paolo Margaglione. The sensational reports emerged following a joint holiday to Dubai, a trip that has been a whirlwind of personal announcements and alleged disputes.

The recent drama unfolded after Katona, 45, reportedly jetted off to Dubai to surprise her close friend on her honeymoon. This coincided with Price, 47, making headlines for her ninth engagement and subsequent marriage to Dubai-based businessman Andrews, a union that has raised eyebrows due to its swift progression.

Adding to the public fascination, Price recently took to Instagram, hinting at exciting family news. She posted a message that suggested she and Andrews were embarking on a new chapter together, stating: “Please just enjoy watching us build our empire as I’m having his child.” This announcement, however, was reportedly met with concern from Price’s family, who, according to a source, felt the couple had “only known each other for a matter of weeks.”

It was within this context of personal revelations and family concerns that the alleged dispute between their partners surfaced. Reports suggested that while Price and Katona were enjoying their time in Dubai, their respective partners, Andrews and Margaglione, became embroiled in a disagreement that allegedly escalated into a physical confrontation.

Katie Price Sets the Record Straight

Addressing the swirling rumours directly, Katie Price appeared in a video posted on her Instagram Story to set the record straight. With a clear and direct tone, she stated, “Oh my god, there is so much speculation at the moment going around about me and Lee, I don’t know what the fascination is.”

She continued to debunk the alleged fight: “But one thing I will clear up, there has not been any punch-ups, punches thrown between Lee and Paolo. If anything, we had a really good day, and we celebrated with them and that was it, had a great day. I don’t know where these stories have come from.”

Price went on to speak glowingly of her husband, highlighting his gentle nature. She asserted that Lee “has never, ever been aggressive, angry, or spoken to me in any sort of way.” This personal testimony serves to underscore her belief in Andrews’ character and dismiss the narrative of him being prone to violence.

The couple is reportedly planning a grand wedding celebration back in the UK, a prospect they are eagerly anticipating. “We are so in love and he is my absolute teddy bear. That’s what I call him, my teddy bear,” Price shared, expressing her deep affection for Andrews. She further revealed their plans for a large ceremony, inviting their nearest and dearest. “And we can’t wait for when we get back to England, to do a big wedding, with all our family and friends, and obviously Kerry and Paolo will be our special guests.” This statement directly contradicts any notion of a strained relationship between the couples.

Allegations of a Dubai Altercation

The rumours of a physical altercation originated from reports published by The Sun, which alleged that an incident occurred between Andrews and Margaglione. According to these unconfirmed accounts, Katona was not present at the time of the alleged dispute.

An unnamed onlooker reportedly told the publication that “Lee was having some cross words with Katie. He was acting in what appeared to be an aggressive manner.” The source further claimed that when Margaglione intervened, Price’s husband allegedly became “very angry and was shouting at him.”

The situation was described as having “got very heated,” with the onlooker alleging that “Lee threw some punches and one of them landed Paolo square on the head.” This alleged spat was said to have taken place in a public area of the Dubai hotel where Katona and Margaglione were staying.

The eyewitness described the fight as erupting “very quickly.” It was reported that Margaglione “walked away” from the scene following the incident, while Price was said to have appeared “shocked” by the events. A source close to The Sun further alleged that the incident had caused the friendship between Price and Katona to become “strained.”

This alleged incident comes after Price and Katona shared a stage last year for a joint tour, during which they candidly discussed their lives with audiences across the country. Their friendship dates back to their shared experience on the third season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, where Price was eliminated fifth and Katona was crowned the “Queen of the Jungle.”

When approached for comment regarding the alleged altercation, both Kerry Katona and Paolo Margaglione reportedly declined to respond. A representative for Katie Price, however, confirmed that they had been informed the reports were untrue.
