Katie Price’s Husband Addresses Scathing Allegations of Deception
In a recent turn of events, the husband of British media personality Katie Price, Carl Woods, has found himself at the centre of a storm of allegations concerning his professional background and business dealings. Woods, who recently married Price in a private ceremony in Dubai, has publicly addressed claims that he embellished his curriculum vitae (CV) and faced accusations of fraudulent behaviour.
The controversy first surfaced when it was revealed that Woods’ CV contained claims of academic achievements and professional affiliations that have since been disputed. Among these were assertions that he had studied at Cambridge University and held a PhD. Furthermore, his LinkedIn profile reportedly listed him as a Member of the Board of Advisors for the Labour Party and Director of Philanthropy at The King’s Trust. Both the Labour Party and The King’s Trust have reportedly denied any knowledge of these roles, casting a shadow of doubt over Woods’ professional credibility.
Woods, who has been described as a “self-proclaimed millionaire,” has acknowledged that his CV may have been overstated. Speaking to The Sun, he stated, “I think that’s been hyped up and made to look better than what it is and it needs to come down.” He attributed some of the inaccuracies to a former personal assistant, adding, “I can’t take the showmanship of it, but I’ll take the accountability. The PA no longer works for me now anyway, for other reasons — probably because of that.” Woods also claimed that he does not personally manage his social media accounts, including his LinkedIn profile.

Beyond the academic and professional claims, Woods has also faced more serious allegations of fraud and deception, particularly concerning his past romantic relationships. One woman has come forward alleging that Woods persuaded her to invest $1000 (approximately 4000 Dubai Dirhams) in his business with the promise of doubling her money within ten days. She claims to have transferred the funds to his personal bank account and has yet to see the money returned, despite official paperwork indicating that the business was dissolved in 2024. Woods, however, insists that the company is still operational, stating unequivocally, “100 per cent it’s there.”
Adding another layer to the narrative, Woods has also maintained that he has met Kim Kardashian and works directly with her mother, Kris Jenner. However, representatives for Kim Kardashian have reportedly confirmed that this is not the case.
Despite these persistent rumours and allegations, Katie Price has publicly defended her husband. She revealed that the couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement before their wedding. While ex-partners have labelled Woods a “con artist” and there are claims of him having served time in prison for fraud, preventing him from leaving the country, Price remains steadfast in her belief in his integrity. “I want to get to know him. He wants to get to know me,” she has stated.
Woods has yet to formally meet Katie Price’s children, her sister Sophie, or her mother Amy. However, he has connected with her children via FaceTime and has even gotten a tattoo of her eldest son, Harvey’s, name on his hand, indicating a desire to build a bond with his new family.
The ongoing scrutiny of Carl Woods’ past raises significant questions about his background and business practices. As these allegations continue to surface, the public will be watching closely to see how these claims are further addressed and what impact they may have on his relationship with Katie Price and his public image.
