Price’s Husband Lee Andrews Faces Probe Over UK Police Allegations

Katie Price’s new husband, Lee Andrews, is reportedly facing a police investigation in Dubai. This follows claims that he is currently banned from leaving the country. The former glamour model, aged 47, surprised many by marrying the businessman in January. However, their union has reportedly been far from smooth sailing.

Earlier this month, Lee’s ex-partner publicly compared him to the infamous “Tinder Swindler” and issued a stark warning to Katie, advising her not to trust him. This warning came shortly before allegations surfaced that Lee is unable to depart from Dubai. These allegations stem from claims that he allegedly forged his ex-girlfriend’s signature on a loan agreement, a charge he vehemently denies.

Now, Lee’s legal troubles appear to be escalating. Reports indicate that allegations previously made to Herefordshire Police in the UK have been transferred to the police in Dubai. A source close to the situation told The Sun: “The police have handed the files to the police in Dubai as Lee lives there and the allegations made against him happened in that country.”

Under Dubai law, individuals involved in pending criminal investigations, including those related to unpaid debts or civil lawsuits, are legally prohibited from leaving the country.

Dina Taji, a personal trainer who dated Lee for two years, reportedly discovered that he allegedly forged her signature to secure a mortgage of approximately £200,000 (AED 1 million) in her name. This information was reported by the Daily Mail.

An insider revealed the extent of Dina’s shock: “Dina couldn’t believe Lee had made financial commitments in her name. He forged her signature to take out the mortgage for AED 1 million. She only found out when the bank called her to check some details. She had no idea about it. She then went legal and raised a case against Lee, which has resulted in him getting a travel ban.”

The allegations of financial impropriety are not the only recent claims to surface. Earlier this month, Lee was also accused of soliciting money from a woman just days before he proposed to Katie Price. The Sun claims to have heard voice notes, purportedly sent in January, in which Andrews allegedly asks an unnamed American woman for thousands of pounds.

In one of the alleged voice notes, Andrews is heard saying: “If you can help me or send Western Union 3000, that would help me so much. I could just do with a big hug, really. You don’t know how desperate it’s been, the last couple of months of me trying to survive.” The woman who received these messages claims that when she refused to send him money, he swore at her and dismissed her as a time-waster.

Adding to the controversy, just days after these alleged requests for funds, Katie Price backtracked on a claim that Lee had obtained a PhD from Cambridge University. This followed claims on his social media accounts that he was known as “Dr Lee Andrews.” Further scrutiny revealed that photographs posted on his profile, showing him with figures like Kim Kardashian and Elon Musk at an apparent event in Dubai, were in fact AI-generated and have since been removed.

Representatives for Lee Andrews have been contacted for comment.
