The K90 Ultra is also expected to feature a 1.5K-resolution LTPS display, a dedicated graphics chip, and even an active cooling fan. According to reports, it will have a battery closer to 8,500mAh. If true, that would be unusually large, even for a gaming-focused phone.
Other rumored features include custom-tuned symmetrical stereo speakers, a larger vibration motor for stronger haptics, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra
The Ace 6 Ultra, meanwhile, is tipped to feature a massive 6.8-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate and, like its Redmi rival, will run on the Dimensity 9500. The phone has already cleared certification in China, though specific details remain under wraps. A device with the model number PMK110 has surfaced in China’s SRRC database, and it could be the Ace 6 Ultra, but that’s not confirmed just yet.
The Ace 6 Ultra is expected to go head-to-head with the Redmi K90 Ultra when both launch in China this April. For now, there’s no word on whether OnePlus plans to release the device globally, but given the company’s track record, it’s not off the table.
