Robbie Williams Shares His Thoughts on His Daughter Teddy’s Future in the Entertainment Industry
Robbie Williams, the former member of Take That and a successful solo artist, has opened up about his daughter Teddy’s potential future in the entertainment industry. The 13-year-old is already making waves as an actress, having appeared in her first film, Tinseltown, last year. However, it seems that Teddy might also be following in her father’s footsteps as a singer.
Williams described his daughter as “talented” and praised her “wonderful voice.” He mentioned that Teddy has the ability to write songs and is eager to start her career. Despite this, he hasn’t planned to bring her on stage with him just yet. “There won’t be an album from Ted before my next one but she’s raring to go,” he said. “She’s very, very talented, she’s got a wonderful voice and writes songs easily.”
However, Robbie emphasized the importance of letting Teddy prepare for her career at her own pace. He expressed concern that if she were to start too soon, it could negatively impact her confidence. “I’ve always wanted her to come on stage and sing with me for like the last three years at least – but then you see other children of famous people get up and then just then pulled apart,” he added.

Teddy recently made headlines when she was asked during the premiere of her film Tinseltown what she would choose if she were stranded on a desert island: her father’s music or that of pop icon Taylor Swift. The young actress pondered the question before her father humorously interjected, “Do you wanna do another film?” which caused everyone to laugh.
Teddy ultimately chose her father, saying, “You know what? I actually – I love you Taylor – but I’m going to be with my dad,” before adding, “I love him.” This moment highlighted the close relationship between the two.

The talented teen joined her father and mother Ayda Field, 46, on the star-studded red carpet in London to celebrate the launch of Chris Foggin’s Christmas movie. Teddy has been following in her parents’ footsteps in the entertainment world after landing her first major role, playing the daughter of Rebel Wilson’s character, Jill.
Back in February 2025, Teddy was spotted on set filming with Hollywood A-lister Rebel Wilson and British icon Danny Dyer in Wetherby, Yorkshire. She was seen holding hands with her co-star Rebel as they walked through the artificial snow alongside actor Kiefer.
A source told The Sun at the time: “Teddy was born to be a star – after all, her parents are both the ultimate performers. Robbie and Ayda have been keen to keep her out of the spotlight for as long as possible though – obscuring her face on social media etc – so this is all very much being driven by Teddy who’s wanted to be on stage since she was old enough to talk!”
“It’s a small part but obviously is super-exciting, and everyone is really proud of her. She’s an absolutely lovely girl on and off screen, and has fitted in seamlessly into on-set life.”
Privacy and Family Life
Robbie and Ayda are known for keeping their children private, often disguising their faces on social media. Ayda has previously explained their decision, stating, “We never show their faces, it’s really important to us. We’re really proud and we want to share absolutely everything but there’s a law in this country that means they can’t put pictures up of kids in the papers unless you’re posting their faces.”
The last picture shared by the couple was back in April when Robbie played a game with his children. The family was pictured laying in a circle on the floor while holding hands. Sharing the sweet snap to her Instagram Story, Ayda wrote, “Family time.”
Lifestyle and Home Life
The family lives in a £17.5 million home in Kensington, London, but also splits their time between Beverly Hills and a £24 million estate overlooking Lake Geneva in Switzerland. This luxurious lifestyle reflects the success of both Robbie and Ayda in their respective careers.
