Shiloh Jolie Makes Music Video Debut as a Dancer
Shiloh Jolie, the daughter of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, made her music video debut as a dancer in a K-pop track. The 19-year-old star appeared in Dayoung’s music video for the song “What’s A Girl To Do,” which was released by Starship Entertainment’s official YouTube channel on Tuesday.
In the video, Shiloh showcased her sense of style with a lace cropped top and baggy pants while joining a group of backing dancers for one scene. Her hair was partially braided and pulled back, highlighting her striking features that resemble her mother’s.
Another scene featured the teen casually joining a group of friends in a spacious room, where they were joined by Dayoung, who is also a member of the girl group WJSN.
Shiloh reportedly landed the role through an ‘open audition.’ A representative for Starship Entertainment shared details about the casting process. They mentioned that they held an open audition in the United States to cast performers for Dayoung’s music video. Among those who participated were several performers affiliated with a dance crew called Culture.
The representative also revealed that they did not know Shiloh was the daughter of Jolie and Pitt during production. “Shiloh was selected in the final round and ended up joining Dayoung’s music video,” the representative stated. “Even after filming, we had no idea she was the child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and only found out by chance quite recently.”
Passion for Dance
Shiloh has been seen attending dance classes in Los Angeles, showing her dedication to her passion. Choreographer Kolanie Marks has previously spoken about working with Shiloh at the Millennium Dance Complex. He mentioned that his style is challenging for many people, but Shiloh has been dedicated to learning it.
Marks told People in 2024, “My style is a lot harder for a lot of people and it’s something that she’s dedicated herself to trying to figure out.” He also emphasized respecting Shiloh’s privacy as the daughter of famous parents. “That’s something I don’t talk to her about. I keep it very strictly based off of what we focus on, which is the dancing,” he said.
Marks praised Shiloh’s consistency. “She’s not only training with me. She trains with a lot of other people. Whatever dance is for her, she is dedicated to it. That’s what I love,” he added.
Family Dynamics and Personal Interests
While Shiloh is pursuing her passion for dance, her mother has mentioned that the teen does not necessarily want to be in the spotlight like her famous parents. During a panel discussion at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival last year, Jolie explained why her children do not want to follow in her acting footsteps.
“I always wanted them to be around film because I wanted them to know as a part of – it’s such a wonderful family, to be creative, to be an artist, to be… They’re not interested,” Jolie said. She added, “They really don’t like any of the celebrity part of it, especially Shiloh hates it. I think in a very healthy way they don’t… It’s not a normal thing. It’s a silly thing really.”
Jolie also mentioned that while some of her children have joined her on set in the past, they have their own interests in the creative arts. “Some of them dance, some of them paint, some of them love theater, but none of them are dying to be on screen,” she said.

Family Background and Recent Developments
Angelina Jolie shares six children with her ex-husband Brad Pitt: Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, as well as twins Knox and Vivienne, 17. Following a bitter eight-year legal battle, Jolie and Pitt finally reached a divorce settlement in December 2024.
Pitt seems to have a rocky relationship with his children. Shiloh dropped Pitt from her name in August 2024, changing her legal name to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie. She filed for this change on her 18th birthday.
