Sinitta’s Transformation from Screamer to Winner
Sinitta, a well-known figure in the entertainment industry, has had a remarkable journey on the show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Her initial appearance in 2011 left a lasting impression, not for her bravery, but for her constant screams of fear at the sight of any moving creature. This behavior made her one of the show’s most feared stars, leading to millions of viewers voting for her to take on the Bushtucker Trial.
However, in the first episode of the All Stars spin-off, which aired on Monday, Sinitta, now 62, showed significant growth as she successfully completed her first challenge. As the final arrivals during episode one, Sinitta and comedian Seann Walsh were tasked with grabbing stars 140ft above the ground in Level Up. The trial required the pair to tackle a Go Ape-style high ropes course, with the first to clear the obstacles and reach the other side, or avoid falling off, being crowned the winner.
Despite starting off tentatively and Seann gaining an early lead, Sinitta turned the situation around and won the challenge by sprinting across the final obstacles to snatch the victory. This moment marked the beginning of her redemption arc after her infamous 2011 season.

Sinitta’s Perspective on the Show
It comes after Sinitta revealed the reason she planned to play up for the cameras while making her debut appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2011 – and the shock disappointment she faced on the show.
The So Macho singer made it just 14 days during the stint 15 years ago as the second celebrity to wave goodbye, after becoming known for her ‘scaredy cat’ like nature in the face of the horrifying Bushtucker Trials.
But it wasn’t all genuine fear according to Sinitta who admitted she did feel the need to play up for the cameras hoping it would earn her a treat in camp.
Insights from a Recent Interview
Sitting down with Emma Willis and Rylan Clark on This Morning on Monday (April 6) ahead of the second series of the ITV All Stars spin-off, she revealed that she didn’t think the show ‘was real’ before taking part the first time.
Sinitta told Rylan and Emma: “I did actually think, you know I was on X Factor and I thought of Simon [Cowell], he’s not going to let them make me do it and they will feed me. I thought, do good TV and then they will feed you.”
Rylan, 37, chimed in: “I love it, so you thought, ‘I’ll go in the jungle, I’ll do my bit for the camera and then they will give me a McDonalds at the end of it’.”
Nodding along, Sinitta added: “And no, nothing, you really have to go collect your water, you really have to sleep outside with things running over your sleeping bag.”
She later recalled of her hopes to face less terrifying trials on her return to the show: “I told [the producers] what I wouldn’t do and what I would do. You have these long interviews, I’m older now, they have to be careful with me now because I’m older, but no. I believed them because I was really hesitating.”
Shaking her head, Sinitta added that this wasn’t to be the case: “They were like, you know, ‘we know now, you just say [what you don’t want to do], but no’.”

A New Beginning
Luckily for Sinitta, this time round the celebrities were able to decide amongst themselves who went to do the trials by picking “who was best for it”. ‘I did trials and nobody considered I was best for it, but they have to let you do something, sometime,’ she joked of her attempts at getting stars.’
