Ben Shephard then steered the conversation towards Joe Swash’s current endeavours, hinting that these might be contributing to the public’s heightened interest. “There is a lot going on at the moment, because of his lake, the plan for the lake is coming to fruition. He was talking to us the other day…”
In a moment of lighthearted self-deprecation, Stacey quipped, “Maybe I dropped my ring in the lake… with our marriage!”
This playful remark, however, touches upon Joe Swash’s significant and ambitious plans for their family home, Pickle Cottage. Joe is indeed in the process of transforming a section of their property into a fishing lake, a key component of his vision for a burgeoning glamping site business.
Speaking previously to The Sun, Joe outlined his grand aspirations for the space. His vision extends beyond just a fishing lake, with plans to incorporate “a couple of yurts [and] a couple of little hot tubs.”
He elaborated on the concept, stating, “I want to make somewhere where you can come and eat good food and bring your wife and she won’t mind you fishing because she’ll have enough things to do.”
The ultimate goal, as Joe explained, is to create a destination that attracts visitors. “Hopefully, the public will book and come and stay. That’s the big goal – to have a really nice glamping place where people can come and just enjoy nature.”
A Long-Standing Love Story
Stacey and Joe’s relationship has a history spanning many years. Their connection first sparked in 2010 when they met on the set of the popular reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. After years together, they officially tied the knot in 2022.
The couple are proud parents to three children: Rex, Rose, and Belle. Stacey is also mum to her two older sons, Zachary and Leighton, while Joe is a devoted father to his son, Harry, making them a blended family of seven.
