On March 20, 2026, the Sun moved into Aries, a sign associated with military service, and brought some exciting news: All seven members of BTS had completed their mandatory service in South Korea. This means that the global fan base known as ARMY (Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth) could once again be active.
After a four-year break, the group made a comeback with their fifth studio album, Arirang, which was released on March 20, the first day of Aries season. The title Arirang is derived from a 600-year-old Korean folk song that has been passed down through generations. It has been sung during times of hardship and was chosen by the band to share the essence of Korean resilience with the world.
On March 21, all seven members of BTS—Jin, V, RM, Jimin, Jungkook, Suga, and J-Hope—performed together live at Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square for the first time since 2022, drawing a crowd of over 100,000 fans.
The timing of their return seems almost symbolic. Lucky Jupiter is back in Cancer, the sign associated with childhood friends, home, and family dynamics. The last time Jupiter entered the sign of the Crab was in June 2013, just a week after the group’s first single, No More Dream, debuted. Now that the members are living together again, having the planet of good fortune in their domestic space is a positive omen—especially since several members are known for their cooking skills.
Although the K-pop supergroup was formed by Big Hit Entertainment over a decade ago, the chemistry between the Bangtan Boys feels cosmic and naturally harmonious. To understand more about what each member brings to the group, we looked at their birth charts.
RM: Virgo Sun, Sagittarius Moon
Rap Monster, or RM, was the first member chosen for BTS and has served as its leader ever since. A Virgo, he has always been curious and data-driven, often visiting museums and galleries. His frequent art-related posts have led fans to coin the term “Namjooning” to describe his habit of spotting art. RM described his 2022 solo album, Indigo, as “the last archive of my 20s,” fitting for a Virgo who loves to document experiences. His Sagittarius moon reflects his love for learning, especially English, which he mastered by watching the sitcom Friends with his parents.
Jungkook: Virgo Sun, Leo Moon
Baby-faced Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS, is a Virgo with a Leo moon. Known for his versatility, he has become a lead vocalist, dancer, producer, and filmmaker. His Virgo traits align with his perfectionist streak and work ethic. His 2023 debut album, GOLDEN, is a nod to his nickname and the color associated with Leo. His stage presence has drawn comparisons to Michael Jackson, a fellow Virgo.
Jin: Sagittarius Sun, Aries Moon
Sagittarius Jin is the oldest member of BTS and came to the group without prior vocal experience. He learned to sing specifically for BTS and is known as “Worldwide Handsome.” His Aries moon adds fearlessness to his performance. His 2022 single “The Astronaut” explores themes of choice and belonging, reflecting his Sagittarius nature.
V (Taehyung): Capricorn Sun, Aries Moon
V, a true Capricorn, came to BTS by accident. His chart features five planets in Capricorn, earning him the nickname “Blank Tae.” His Aries moon gives him an artistic edge. Known for his unique style and jazz influences, V has also cited Kurt Cobain as an inspiration.
Suga: Pisces Sun, Virgo Moon
Creative Suga, a Pisces, came to BTS through a rap competition. His lyrics are emotionally direct, and his work under the name Agust D showcases his deep feelings. His Virgo moon contributes to his editorial skills, making him a prolific writer and producer.
J-Hope: Aquarius Sun, Taurus Moon
J-Hope is the mood center of BTS, with an Aquarius sun that brings vision and hope. His Taurus moon grounds him in physicality and rhythm. His 2022 album, Jack in the Box, revealed a dystopian side, and he became the first South Korean artist to headline Lollapalooza.
Jimin: Libra Sun, Gemini Moon
Jimin, a Libra, joined BTS last due to his preference for taking things slowly. Known for his grace and balance, he is meticulous and grateful. His Gemini moon makes him a social and intellectual person, often reading and engaging with art and philosophy. While he is a mediator in the group, he can be self-critical, pushing himself to his limits.
