In one of her latest posts, Bynes was seen wearing a cheetah-print sweatshirt while flashing a peace sign for the camera. The background of the video hinted at an upcoming song she is working on with Yogi. She captioned the post: “@realyungyogi our track is going to be so lit.”
A New Music Career
Bynes seems to be focusing on a new music career, as she released a song titled “GIRLFRIEND” on April 10. The track features @fenixflexinofficial, and Bynes shared her excitement on social media, writing: “@fenixflexinofficial is going to be on my song GIRLFRIEND! Straight fire 🔥 !!!!!!!!!”
For months leading up to the release, Bynes posted rough cuts of the track, giving fans a glimpse into her creative process. On January 19, she wrote: “@realyungyogi @zvbbv @nikkipaigenarage cooking up in the studio. Want this to be a dance trance edm track. We’ll see where we go with it :-).”
In a January 28 teaser, Bynes could be heard declaring in the song, “My friends love hearing about you. I love everything you do.”
