Brady’s Ex-Teammate Hints at Shock Career Move in Feud with Logan Paul

A New Arena for Tom Brady: From Football to Wrestling?

Former NFL star Rob Gronkowski has recently hinted that his former teammate, Tom Brady, might be considering a surprising career shift—though not on the football field. Instead, Gronkowski suggested that Brady could make a shocking move into the world of wrestling, especially after the quarterback’s ongoing feud with Logan Paul.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner found himself in an unexpected conflict with the wrestling superstar after Paul mocked his athletic abilities earlier this year. This clash has led to a growing rivalry between the two, and as WrestleMania 42 approaches in Las Vegas, Gronkowski has teased the possibility of Brady stepping into the ring.

“It makes sense because Tom and Logan Paul have been beefing for about two to three months now,” Gronkowski said, speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail ahead of WrestleMania in partnership with DoorDash. “I thought they were going to fight at the flag football game, but it just didn’t come to that situation, which is good. We didn’t need any fights on that flag football field.”

Gronkowski also mentioned that he had hoped the rivalry would escalate further at WrestleMania, adding, “I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s here, but I don’t know if he is or not.”

Brady initially dismissed Paul’s athleticism, calling it “cute” and claiming he lacks the toughness of football players. In response, Paul argued that he could beat most NFL athletes in a fight, sparking a heated debate. The tension between the two escalated further when both participated in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in March.

Many questioned whether the feud was genuine or just a publicity stunt. An insider previously told the Daily Mail that the pair might be playing up the conflict to promote a storyline where Brady could appear at WrestleMania and disrupt Paul’s match.

Gronkowski believes Brady would do well in the ring, though he doesn’t think the quarterback would become a full-time wrestler. Instead, he envisions a cameo similar to what Jelly Roll did during the event.

“I think he would do great,” Gronkowski said. “I don’t think he’d be like a full-time wrestler and actually have a match. I think he would have like a little cameo, kind of like Jelly Roll last night, how he dropped Pat McAfee through the announcing table, which was epic. That was fun.”

Polarizing ESPN star Pat McAfee was taken out of WrestleMania on a stretcher after being sent through a table by singer Jelly Roll on Saturday night.

Gronkowski added, “I watched all of WrestleMania yesterday in my hotel room. It was a blast. I would say a little cameo like that for Tom, where he jumps off top rope and like elbows somebody and like takes their hat and throws it like a football.”

When asked about Brady’s comments on wrestling being “cute,” Gronkowski brushed it off as trash talk, insisting that Brady respects the sport.

“Tom is just becoming a professional trash-talker now,” he said. “I’m sure he respects everyone’s craft and he was just going at it with Logan Paul at the moment. But I thought it was great—I thought it was entertaining—them two going at it and Tom talking trash about the WWE and that it’s cute. And Logan Paul going back at Tom, talking about his football career. All of that was fun and games. It was cool and fun to watch a collaboration of Tom going at it with a couple wrestlers and everyone talking garbage back and forth.”

He continued, “I respect everything that the WWE wrestlers do, the hard work that goes in. I’m sure Tom does, too. Like I said, he was just being cute with his comments, but I respect everything they do—from their lifting regime to how they’ve got to prepare for the matches in the ring to being able to memorize all of their promotions and going out in the ring and talking all of the garbage in front of millions of fans. I respect everything that they do big time.”

Gronkowski, who won four Super Bowls alongside Brady, is set to host Gronk Beach in Las Vegas later on Sunday night. The event will serve as the official afterparty of WrestleMania, sponsored by DoorDash. Before the action got underway, the former football player was spotted on the Vegas strip interacting with fans.

In partnership with the delivery service app and Medium Rare, Gronkowski played a game with fans in front of the Fountains of Bellagio to see what they had in their bag, with DoorDash vouchers awarded as prizes.
