A New Chapter for Tom Brady?
Former NFL star Rob Gronkowski has recently hinted that his ex-teammate, Tom Brady, might be considering a return to the spotlight — but not in the way many would expect. While Brady officially retired from the NFL in 2023, Gronkowski suggested that the seven-time Super Bowl winner could make an unexpected move into the world of wrestling.
This idea comes after Brady’s ongoing feud with Logan Paul, which began when Brady mocked Paul’s athletic abilities earlier this year. The rivalry escalated further, leading to speculation about a potential showdown at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
The Feud Between Brady and Paul
Gronkowski shared his thoughts on the situation, stating that it makes sense for Brady and Paul to continue their rivalry. He mentioned that he initially thought they might settle their differences during a flag football game, but that didn’t happen. Instead, the two have continued their verbal sparring, which has sparked interest in the possibility of Brady making an appearance at WrestleMania.
“I thought they were going to fight at the flag football game, but it just didn’t come to that situation, which is good. We didn’t need any fights on that flag football field,” Gronkowski said.

A Potential Comeback in Wrestling
Brady’s comments about Paul’s athleticism, calling it “cute” and questioning his toughness, led to a heated debate. Paul responded by claiming he could beat most NFL athletes in a fight, which only fueled the rivalry further. Many questioned whether the feud was genuine or simply a publicity stunt.
An insider previously told the Daily Mail that the pair might be playing up their feud to promote a storyline where Brady appears at WrestleMania and disrupts Paul’s match. Gronkowski supported this idea, suggesting that Brady could make a cameo rather than becoming a full-time wrestler.
“I think he would do great,” Gronkowski said. “I don’t think he’d be like a full-time wrestler and actually have a match. I think he would have like a little cameo, kind of like Jelly Roll last night, how he dropped Pat McAfee through the announcing table, which was epic. That was fun.”

A Fun and Entertaining Rivalry
Gronkowski emphasized that he sees the feud as a form of entertainment rather than a serious conflict. He described the interaction between Brady and Paul as a “collaboration” of trash talk, which he found amusing.
“I watched all of WrestleMania yesterday in my hotel room,” he said. “It was a blast. I would say a little cameo like that for Tom, where he jumps off top rope and like elbows somebody and like takes their hat and throws it like a football.”
He also brushed off Brady’s comments about wrestling being “cute,” saying that it was just trash talk. Gronkowski insisted that Brady respects the sport and the hard work that goes into it.
“I respect everything that the WWE wrestlers do, the hard work that goes in. I’m sure Tom does, too. Like I said, he was just being cute with his comments but I respect everything they do big time.”
Gronkowski’s Upcoming Event
Gronkowski, who won four Super Bowls alongside Brady, is set to host Gronk Beach in Las Vegas later on Sunday night. This event will serve as the official afterparty of WrestleMania, sponsored by DoorDash. Before the action got underway, the former football player was spotted on the Vegas strip interacting with fans.
In partnership with the delivery service app and Medium Rare, Gronkowski played a game with fans in front of the Fountains of Bellagio to see what they had in their bag with DoorDash vouchers being awarded as prizes.
