Emma describes her style as “classic with a twist.” She has a deep appreciation for clean, timeless silhouettes, but she also enjoys adding something fun or unexpected to her outfits. Her approach is all about balancing elegance with a touch of playfulness.
What’s the Oldest Thing in Your Wardrobe?
Among the treasures in Emma’s wardrobe is a pair of tan leather gloves that once belonged to her grandmother. These gloves are not only beautiful but also incredibly delicate, making them a cherished heirloom. Another nostalgic item is a blue Adidas zip sweater from her teenage years, which later inspired part of her label’s Romy Athletic Society collection.

The latest addition to her wardrobe is a black, collarless, boat-neck blazer from Source Unknown. It’s a versatile piece that fits perfectly into her everyday style.

For a first date, Emma would opt for the Romy “Clara” mesh dress paired with strappy black Miu Miu kitten heels. The outfit is both elegant and comfortable, making it ideal for a romantic evening.

When traveling, Emma prefers her own tailored pants, designed specifically for travel and everyday wear. Made from a fine wool blend with some stretch and an elastic waist, these pants are both practical and stylish. She often pairs them with a T-shirt, denim jacket, or blazer and finishes off the look with Adidas “Samba” sneakers.

For red carpet events, Emma chooses something tailored yet feminine by Maticevski. She favors shades like red, black, or cream, which offer a sophisticated and timeless appeal.

Emma has a soft spot for the 1990s for their simplicity and the playful shapes of the 1960s. Both eras understood the importance of strong silhouettes, which continues to inspire her work today.
Who Is Your Favourite Designer?
Jacquemus is one of Emma’s favorite designers, particularly for their classic shapes and exaggerated detailing, such as big shoulders and fun banana prints. She also admires Acne Studios, Khaite, and Dries Van Noten, especially for their unique use of print.
What’s Your Fragrance of Choice?
Emma’s go-to fragrance is Le Labo “Santal 33,” a scent that exudes warmth and sophistication.
