Chuck Norris Reportedly Hospitalised in Hawaii
Action legend Chuck Norris is reportedly in a Hawaiian hospital following a medical emergency. The 86-year-old martial arts master was said to have been admitted to a medical facility on the island of Kauai in recent days.
This news comes shortly after Norris celebrated his birthday earlier this month, a milestone he marked with a spirited social media post showcasing his enduring fitness.
While the exact nature of the medical emergency has not been disclosed, reports suggest that Norris is in “good spirits,” according to sources speaking to entertainment news outlet TMZ.
Just prior to this reported hospitalisation, Norris shared a video on Instagram featuring him sparring with a trainer. The clip, posted to celebrate his birthday, was accompanied by a caption that proclaimed, “I don’t age. I level up.”

Addressing his more than two million followers, the star of the iconic TV series Walker, Texas Ranger expressed his gratitude for reaching the age of 86. He wrote, “Nothing like some playful action on a sunny day to make you feel young.” Norris continued, “I’m grateful for another year, good health and the chance to keep doing what I love. Thank you all for being the best fans in the world.” He also conveyed his deep appreciation for the unwavering support he has received from his fans throughout his extensive career, noting, “Your support through the years has meant more to me than you’ll ever know.”
Norris, celebrated for his roles in cinematic hits such as The Way of the Dragon and The Expendables 2, has previously spoken about shifting his focus away from a full-time film career. In 2017, he revealed that he had stepped back from acting to concentrate on the health of his wife, Gena O’Kelley, whom he married in 1998.

The past year has also seen Norris experience personal loss. Late last year, he announced the passing of his first wife and high school sweetheart, Dianne Holecheck, who died at the age of 84 following a battle with dementia.
In a heartfelt Facebook tribute, Norris expressed his profound sadness, stating, “After being married for 30 years, we were able to find a way to remain close friends, and those years of friendship meant the world to me.” He fondly remembered Dianne as “an incredible person,” describing her as “kind, intelligent, and lived life to the fullest.” He added, “Her presence in my life will never be forgotten.” Norris also paid tribute to her as a “loving and devoted” mother to their sons, Mike and Eric, who are among his five children.
The reports of Chuck Norris’s hospitalisation in Hawaii have understandably drawn attention from his vast global fanbase, many of whom are sending well wishes for his swift recovery. The martial arts icon’s resilience and positive outlook, as demonstrated in his recent birthday post, continue to inspire many.
