David Guetta Shares Emotional Moment at Coachella
David Guetta, the 58-year-old DJ, recently shared a touching moment from his performance at the Coachella music festival. The event, known for its vibrant energy and star-studded line-up, saw Guetta take to the stage on Saturday night for a high-octane set that lasted two hours. His performance included a surprise appearance from Jennifer Lopez, adding to the excitement of the crowd.
In a new video posted on his social media, Guetta captured the heartwarming moment when he spotted his daughter, Angie, in the packed crowd. The clip shows Angie standing on her friend’s shoulders, waving her phone with the camera turned on. When she caught her father’s eye, Guetta excitedly waved back while jumping on the spot. He captioned the video: “My daughter Angie living her best life in the crowd at Coachella.”
Guetta has two children, Angie and Elvis, 22, with his ex-wife Cathy, whom he divorced in 2014. In February, the French star welcomed his fourth child, his second with girlfriend Jessica Ledon. He announced the happy news on social media, revealing the newborn’s name and sharing a glimpse of their intimate baby shower.
Coachella Highlights
This year’s Coachella also featured performances from other big names, including Justin Bieber and Sabrina Carpenter. Bieber’s set was highly anticipated as his ‘comeback’ after a three-and-a-half-year hiatus due to health concerns. However, his performance was met with mixed reactions, with some fans calling it the “worst in the festival’s history.” Despite being paid a reported $10 million, Bieber’s set consisted mostly of tracks he searched on a laptop, prompting him to ask fans to help choose songs via comments.
The eerie atmosphere was enhanced by smoke and a sloping pearl grey topography, making Bieber appear as if he were walking across another planet. Star-studded guests at the festival included Adele, who made a rare public appearance to watch Bieber’s set with her son Angelo, 13. Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner were also spotted during the weekend, along with Chappell Roan, who made her first appearance since her security guard drama.
Kourtney Kardashian was also present, supporting her husband Travis Barker’s set as drummer for Clipse. She shared a video of them arriving at the stage in a vintage Ford Bronco convertible, with Barker behind the wheel and her manning the camera. She wore a festival-approved bandana around her head as she filmed their drive, with the Etta James song “A Sunday Kind of Love” playing in the background.
Other Festival Attendees
A number of Love Islanders were in attendance, including Samie Elishi, Millie Court, and Chloe Burrows. Meanwhile, Maura Higgins, who did not attend, took to Instagram to share a series of throwback snaps showcasing her toned figure.
