Delta Goodrem captivated UK fans this week with an unexpected pop-up performance in London. The 41-year-old singer, known for her hit “Born To Try,” delivered a memorable show under a bridge in Camden, performing her track “Eclipse” alongside some of her most beloved songs.
“Eclipse” is the song Delta will perform as Australia’s representative at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. The event served as a test run for the track, as it was the first time “Eclipse” had been performed live for a UK audience. Delta looked completely at ease on the makeshift stage, delivering a powerful and polished performance that showcased her vocal talent.
Her fashion choices were just as striking as her performance. Delta donned a bold brown faux fur coat, which added a touch of elegance to her look. She paired it with an eye-catching plaid shirt featuring a long, matching scarf panel attached to the neckline, creating a layered effect. The relaxed-fit, long-sleeve shirt was tucked into light brown tailored wide-leg trousers, while she finished off the outfit with brown suede boots.
Her golden blonde hair was styled in loose waves, falling freely over her shoulders. To complete the look, she wore large black sunglasses, shielding her eyes from the sun. Delta also showed her pride for her home country by waving an Australian flag during the performance.
The event was not only a musical showcase but also a promotional opportunity for Delta. She partnered with the iconic Australian biscuit brand Tim Tam, sharing a clip on Instagram that captured the experience. In her post, she expressed excitement about the event, mentioning how great it was to perform “Eclipse” for her UK fans.
“Yum. Thank you for treating my friends as we sang away!! Best news ever that Tim Tam bikkies are now available here in the UK!!!!” she wrote, adding a playful tone to the post.

The video also showed Delta tossing handfuls of Tim Tams into the crowd, much to their delight. She took the time to interact with her fans, meeting them after the show and posing for selfies. The crowd was clearly thrilled to be in her presence, showing their appreciation with cheers and applause.
Delta was officially announced as Australia’s Eurovision representative in March. The former Neighbours star expressed her excitement about the opportunity, calling it an honour to represent her country on one of the world’s biggest music stages.
“As a singer-songwriter, music has been my lifelong passion. I’ve always loved the creativity, individuality, and joy Eurovision brings, connecting and uniting people across the globe through music; the universal language,” she said in a statement.
Australia’s Eurovision creative director, Paul Clarke, praised Delta, calling her the “perfect choice” to carry the country’s hopes. He highlighted her unique talent, stating that her song represents a bold step forward in her career.
Speculation about Delta’s participation in Eurovision had been circulating for some time. In 2023, she addressed the topic, expressing her admiration for the event. “I’ve always loved watching Eurovision, it’s such a great moment in time,” she told Yahoo Lifestyle.
She also mentioned that she has always focused on her own path, saying, “Whatever I’m meant to sort of cross paths with I’ll move towards that if a time feels right.”
Delta joins a list of notable Australian Eurovision participants, including Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy, and Kate Miller Heidke. Last year’s entrant, Go-Jo, was eliminated during the semi-finals in Switzerland after his song “Milkshake Man” failed to resonate with the audience.
