Elisabeth Moss Shines on Rare Family Day at Disneyland

Elisabeth Moss recently enjoyed a cheerful day at Disneyland with her daughter, showcasing the bond between mother and child. The 43-year-old actress was seen carrying her young child as they walked through the Anaheim, California, park on Wednesday, April 29. Moss embraced the Disney spirit by wearing a white baseball cap and sparkly rose gold Minnie Mouse ears, adding a touch of fun to their outing.

Moss opted for a casual black maxi dress paired with a white blouse and gray sneakers, while her daughter looked adorable in a white shirt and a red and white polka dot skirt. This was a rare family outing, as details about the child’s name and father remain private.

Moss gave birth in 2024 after announcing her pregnancy on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in January of that year. During the interview, host Jimmy Kimmel humorously asked, “Are you pregnant or just an incredibly committed method actor?” Moss responded with a playful “A little bit of both.” She shared her positive experience throughout the pregnancy, stating how she felt “really lucky” and that everything was going “really well.”

Although Moss generally keeps her family life out of the public eye, the Handmaid’s Tale star reflected on the emotional significance of having her daughter by her side while filming the final season of the series. During a March 2025 appearance at PaleyFestLA, she said, “I feel so fortunate to be able to do that. So many parents cannot. So that’s what we always say. Any of us who had the privilege of being able to bring our kids or see our kids at work, we would every single time be like, ‘Aren’t we lucky to get to do that?’”

Her character, June, was also a mother, which added another layer of meaning to Moss’s performance. She told The Hollywood Reporter last March, “It was incredibly meaningful to be able to end this show as a mom, I got to tell you.” Moss described a “beautiful synergy” between the TV universe and her real life, noting how it was a “coming together of art and life that was undoubtedly, incredibly meaningful.”

She elaborated further, saying, “It’s such an important part of the story. I’m really glad that I got to have this last season playing June with a little bit more of a visceral emotional experience of some of the things that June is talking about or fighting for. I’m really happy that I got to have that experience.”

In April 2025, during the Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 premiere in Los Angeles, Moss shared how becoming a mother has changed her perspective on her character. “It’s definitely a more emotional experience as opposed to maybe a little bit more intellectual,” she explained at the time.

This heartfelt reflection highlights the deep connection Moss has developed with her role and her personal journey as a mother. Her ability to blend her real-life experiences with her professional work has made her portrayal of June even more powerful and resonant.
