While it’s been around since 2011, it only launched in the UK in 2022, but it has a range of products that I love using in my day-to-day makeup bag.
One of its standout stars is the Super Serum Skin Tint SPF30, which went viral on TikTok for its fluidity, sheer coverage and serum-like texture. It also makes a beautiful milky toner, The Base Face Milk, which is my go-to as a moisturiser in the summer for my oily combination skin.
Its Limitless Lash Mascara in brown is also one of the greats for its long-wearing, tube formula that can be removed with just a splash of water, yet never smudges or flakes throughout the day.

Ilia Beauty has now added to its range of luxuriously low-maintenance products for achieving a perfectly polished skin-and-makeup look with the launch of its new Skin Blur Serum Concealer.
Like the skin tint, it promises a super-lightweight texture that’s closer to a skincare serum than a traditional, thicker consistency, with a buildable formula that’s ‘crease-resistant’ and comes in 34 different shades.
As a longtime fan of Ilia Beauty, I was keen to see how it fared on my blemish- and redness-prone skin, which needs carefully applied coverage to make me feel confident. Here’s my verdict…
Is the Ilia Beauty Skin Blur Serum Concealer worth the splurge?
After nearly a month of testing, I’ve come to the conclusion that Ilia’s Skin Blur Serum Concealer is a luxury investment worth making. Allow me to explain.
I’m pretty picky about my concealers, especially as there are so many brilliant budget ones at a lot cheaper prices from the likes of Rimmel, L’Oréal and e.l.f.
I have hormonal acne on my chin, rosacea on my cheeks, pretty prominent blackheads on my nose, and the occasional dark circles under my eyes. However, I’m not looking to use three separate concealers to address each issue; I want a one-and-done product that can do it all without looking cakey or leaving me washed out.
This serum-like concealer has a soft doe-foot applicator that can dot tiny, precise areas of coverage or deliver wide swipes for larger areas – it blends seamlessly with both a fluffy brush or the dab of a finger.
I find it provides the perfect amount of light-medium coverage on areas of redness around my spots, when paired with a skin tint or sheer foundation.
In terms of wear, it holds up well throughout the day. It’s not a full-coverage formula, so it won’t cover up everything, but it’s so light that it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing anything, which is exactly how I like it.
While it’s described as ‘self-setting’, as I have an oily T-zone, which is also where I need the most coverage, I found it held best when I dusted a light layer of pressed powder on top.

My Personal Experience
During my time testing the product, I found that it performed exceptionally well on my skin type. The formula blended effortlessly into my skin, offering a seamless finish that didn’t feel heavy or restrictive. I particularly appreciated the fact that it provided enough coverage for my concerns without looking overdone.
The concealer also worked well with other products in my routine, such as the Super Serum Skin Tint SPF30. When used together, they created a balanced, natural look that lasted throughout the day.
For those who are looking for a versatile, high-quality concealer that can handle multiple skin concerns, the Ilia Beauty Skin Blur Serum Concealer is definitely worth considering.
Final Thoughts
If you’re willing to invest in a product that offers both performance and versatility, this concealer is a solid choice. While it may come at a higher price point than some alternatives, the quality and results make it a worthwhile addition to any makeup collection.
