The team’s recent wins came away against Remo Stars and at home against Kwara United. Boboye described the 2–0 victory over Kwara United as an ideal way to wrap up the first round of the season. He praised his players for their dedication and discipline during the match.
“I’m happy with the result and the performance of the players against Kwara,” Boboye said. “It was important for us to end the first round of the season with a convincing victory and to close our last home game of the year on a positive note. The boys showed good character, discipline and commitment from start to finish, and I am excited about this resurgence.”

Boboye highlighted that an early goal played a significant role in the match outcome, allowing his team to take control of the game. The second goal before halftime further helped them maintain dominance.
“Getting the first goal early gave us confidence, and the second goal before halftime helped us control the game better,” he added. “We played to our game plan, kept our shape and limited Kwara United’s chances.”
