Jennifer Aniston’s touching gesture after ex Justin Theroux’s new baby arrival

Jennifer Aniston Shows Support for Ex-Husband After His Newborn Arrival

Jennifer Aniston has shown her support for her ex-husband, Justin Theroux, following the birth of his first child with his second wife, Nicole Brydon Bloom. The couple, known for their age gap, shared the joyful news on Instagram with a joint post that read: “He’s here, we are so in love.” The 57-year-old Friends alum ‘liked’ the post alongside other celebrities like Amy Sedaris and Molly Ringwald.

For Aniston, the topic of children is a sensitive one. She had a 20-year journey to conceive, which ended several years ago after she underwent IVF treatments. On the October 20th episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, she reflected on this experience, stating, “There’s a point where it’s like out of my control. There’s literally nothing I can do about it.” She added, “When people say, ‘But you can adopt,’ I don’t want to adopt. I want my own DNA in a little person. That’s the only way, selfish or not, whatever that is, I’ve wanted it.”

Aniston, who has made peace with her infertility, continued, “It just wasn’t in the plan, whatever the plan was… it’s very emotional, especially in the moment when [doctors] say ‘That’s it,’ because there is a weird moment when that happens.”

The Morning Show producer-star and Theroux ended their two-year marriage in 2017, which may have never been legal, according to TMZ. At the time, the Fallout actor was still living with his girlfriend of 14 years, costume designer Heidi Bivens, when he met Aniston in 2007 and they co-starred in Wanderlust in 2011.

Since last summer, Aniston has been dating hypnotist Jim Curtis, who divorced his ex-wife Rachel Napolitano soon after she welcomed their teenage son, Aidan. Meanwhile, Theroux is 22 years older than Bloom, whom he was first spotted with at a Netflix event in 2023.

The couple, married for 13 months, hosted an intimate baby shower at NoHo cocktail bar, Jac’s on Bond, in February. Bloom shared with People in January, “It’s going really well. I feel good. I was sick in the first trimester, so that was a bummer, but the second trimester has been going really well. I feel very lucky and grateful for that.”

Bloom added, “I have the most adorable little niece, and so my twin sister Christine has been really helpful with advice and baby stuff, and obviously simultaneously preparing for season two of Paradise to come out. It’s a good work-life balance at the moment.”

Last July, HBO renewed Julian Fellowes’ historical drama The Gilded Age for a fourth season, so fans can expect the Chicago-born beauty to reprise her role as wealthy heiress Maud Beaton.

Upcoming Projects for Justin Theroux

Theroux will next reprise his role as Kate Hudson’s onscreen brother Cam Gordon in the 10-episode second season of basketball comedy Running Point, which premieres this Thursday on Netflix. The two-time Emmy-winning producer will also portray Emily Blunt’s onscreen husband in David Frankel’s sequel The Devil Wears Prada 2 – hitting US/UK theaters May 1 – alongside Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Stanley Tucci.

Last May, Amazon Prime Video renewed Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet’s post-apocalyptic drama Fallout for a third season, so fans can also expect Theroux to reprise his role as RobCo Industries CEO Robert Edwin House.

The Washington, D.C.-born actor’s other upcoming projects include Victoria Strouse’s sibling cult comedy Seekers of Infinite Love, Amma Asante’s Cold War thriller Billion Dollar Spy, and Apple TV+ Siegfried & Roy biopic Wild Things.
