Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom Welcome Their First Child

Justin Theroux and his wife Nicole Brydon Bloom have shared the joyous news of their first child, a baby boy. The 54-year-old actor, known for his role in The Leftovers, and the 32-year-old actress from The Gilded Age made the announcement on Saturday, expressing their happiness through a heartfelt post on Instagram.

The couple, who married quietly in March 2025 on a beach in Tulum, Mexico, had kept their relationship largely private. However, nine months after their wedding, they revealed that they were expecting their first child. While the sex and due date remained a secret, the couple finally broke the news this weekend with a touching photo of the newborn resting on Theroux’s chest.

Bloom captioned the black-and-white image with the words “He’s here,” accompanied by a dove emoji and an expression of love. The post quickly garnered attention from fans and fellow celebrities, including Hacks actress Hannah Einbinder, Queer Eye star Tan France, and former Disney Channel star Brenda Song.

The news of the pregnancy came to light in December when Bloom made her baby bump visible at the season two premiere of Theroux’s Amazon Prime series Fallout. The couple was first linked in February 2023, and by December, Theroux was seen accompanying her to her twin sister Chrissy’s wedding. In August 2024, Bloom was spotted wearing a dazzling ring on her engagement finger at the premiere of Theroux’s film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

According to a source, Theroux proposed to Bloom in Italy during their visit to the Venice Film Festival. The couple reportedly celebrated the engagement with a four-carat emerald cut diamond ring designed by Stephanie Gottlieb, as reported by People.

A Private Wedding and a New Chapter

The couple exchanged vows in a small, intimate ceremony on the beach in Tulum in March 2025. This marked a new chapter in Theroux’s life, following his previous marriage to Jennifer Aniston. The couple began dating in 2011, married in 2015, and eventually divorced in 2017.

Their wedding was a star-studded event held at Aniston’s $21 million Bel-Air mansion. Jimmy Fallon officiated the ceremony, and the guest list included Aniston’s Friends castmates Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox, as well as Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, Jason Bateman, Chelsea Handler, and Jimmy Kimmel.

The couple announced their split in February 2018, and Theroux later spoke about the amicable nature of their divorce in an interview with the New York Times. He described it as “the most gentle separation” with no animosity. However, he admitted that navigating public perception was exhausting.

In 2024, Theroux praised Aniston for her response to JD Vance’s comments about “childless cat ladies.” He expressed his continued affection for her, stating, “She is still very dear to me so, of course, yeah, I feel protective.”

Nicole Brydon Bloom’s Background

Nicole Brydon Bloom is not only an actress but also the daughter of David Bloom, a renowned newscaster who passed away tragically in 2003 at the age of 39. His death was caused by a blood clot that led to a pulmonary embolism while he was covering the war in Iraq with the US Third Infantry Division.

Although Theroux usually keeps his personal life private, he opened up in 2024 about how he and Bloom first met. According to him, they were introduced at a party where a friend told him, “That’s the one.” Theroux described the moment as the start of a beautiful connection.

On The Drew Barrymore Show, he shared how the meeting led to a meaningful relationship. “I was like, ‘She’s so stunning.’ So I went over and started talking… and it progressed,” he said.

Theroux also reflected on the benefits of keeping his relationships private. “I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we’re in,” he told Esquire.
