In their official statement, Belift Lab explained that the decision was the result of “much thought and consideration into Enhypen’s future and goals.” The agency elaborated that extensive discussions with all the members about the team’s future direction had revealed that Heeseung envisioned a different creative path for himself. Consequently, the statement concluded, “As such, Heeseung will be parting ways with ENHYPEN, and ENHYPEN will continue official activities henceforth as a group of six members.”
