Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn Shares Her Unique Relationship Journey
Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, a well-known sex expert and television personality, has recently opened up about her unconventional open marriage. The 37-year-old sexologist, who joined the E4 dating show Celebs Go Dating in 2023, is currently married to American oil painter Brent Estabrook, whom she wed in 2023. However, her relationship dynamic goes beyond traditional monogamy.
Dr Tara describes her marriage as “monogamish,” a term that allows both partners to explore their sexual desires with others while maintaining a committed relationship. This approach has led to an unexpected twist in her personal life—she now has a secret boyfriend in London.
The revelation came after she met the man at a bar. Dr Tara, who resides in Los Angeles but frequently travels to the UK for work, shared this detail with The Sun. She explained: ‘I now have my husband in LA and my boyfriend in London. We were joking about how my husband drops me off at the airport in LA and then my boyfriend picks me up at the airport in London.’

She further elaborated on her current lifestyle, stating: ‘But me dating him is very different from me dating my husband and they’re both my partners, I love both of them. I actually now go back and forth between LA and London. So I’ve been coming here a lot even outside of filming Celebs Go Dating because he’s here as well, we spend a lot of time together. I would say I spent half my time with my husband, half my time with my boyfriend here.’
Dr Tara also shared insights into how she and her husband managed to navigate their open relationship. In a previous interview with OK! Magazine, she revealed that her husband wasn’t initially keen on the idea. However, they found a way to make it work by setting clear boundaries.
Some of the rules they established include:
- No kissing strangers, as it can be seen as more romantic.
- No sleeping with close friends, as it could lead to awkward situations.
- Always using protection.
- Avoiding repeated meetings with the same person to prevent emotional attachments.
She added: ‘Personally, I don’t like to see the same person multiple times, because you could grow an emotional attachment. But for some of my clients, they see the same person regularly.’
Exciting New Season of Celebs Go Dating
The 15th series of Celebs Go Dating is set to return to screens on 4 May 2026. Dr Tara will be back alongside Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson, helping the stars find love. This year’s cast includes notable names such as Coleen Nolan, David Potts, Gabby Allen, James Haskell, Lucinda Light, PK Humble, and Professor Green.
Speaking about the new lineup, Dr Tara said: ‘To be honest with you, I didn’t know any of them prior to coming here. I know that they are very famous faces here, but across the pond, I wasn’t super aware of their work until I came here. And then I learned about them and I have so much respect for all of them and what they do and the experiences that they’ve gone through.’
She was particularly impressed by the diversity in the cast, highlighting the representation of neurodivergence, different sexualities, and polyamory. ‘I was excited about that,’ she added.
When asked if anyone had surprised her, Dr Tara mentioned PK Humble. ‘He has got a roster of women and I’m not down with that. He’s from a good family. He’s a sweet boy. He’s respectful to us. So I think he has learnt a lot and is revealing himself to be a very actually sensitive and kind person. He just needs to show that more towards women and on dates.’
