Mizzou Basketball 2026 Transfer Watch

Welcome to the 2026 Transfer Portal season. The portal is officially open, and the information is about to start flowing. We’ve got an amended roster count, and it’s a lot lighter than it was just a few days ago. That isn’t a surprise—the portal is easy to get into for players, coaches, and fans alike. Here’s where the roster stands (I’ll do my best to keep this part updated):

UPDATE TUESDAY APRIL 21

Sorry for the delay on the update, I was unavailable yesterday to update this post, but Missouri has confirmed interest and visits with LSU point guard Jalen Reece and Texas A&M point guard Josh Holloway. They’ve also reached out to Campbell combo guard Jeremiah Johnson. And as of midnight tonight, the portal is officially closed.

UPDATE APRIL 18-19

It’s been quiet since Tiller committed and with good reason. Missouri is currently surveying their options at guard, LSU guard Jalen Reece is expecting a visit from Dennis Gates, and may visit campus this week. There was some reported contact with Jacksonville State transfer Jaye Nash, but most of their other activity has been kept under wraps. Meanwhile Utah picked off TJ Burch, and Oregon nabbed the commitment from Jasper Johnson.

UPDATE THURSDAY APRIL 16

It’s early, but Bryson Tiller just committed, and I’ve updated the post. The front court is set, and the attention now turns to guards.

UPDATE WEDNESDAY APRIL 15

We’ve added Kentucky transfer guard Jasper Johnson to the list as On3s reporting got leaked onto Twitter saying Mizzou was making up some ground on Alabama. But the bigger news was Bryson Tiller canceling his visit to Arizona. Most people seem to think he’s making a decision between Miami and Missouri.

UPDATE TUESDAY APRIL 14

Jamier Jones committed to the Tigers, giving Missouri their second signing of the spring. It’s also been reported that Missouri is in the top 5 schools for Montana guard Money Williams.

APRIL 7 – 13

Jaylen Carey committed to the Tigers in the first week, giving Dennis Gates his first signing of the spring. Past that, it was mostly quiet with the Tigers only being attached to three reported players in the first few days: James Madison forward Justin McBride, Utah guard Terrence Brown, and Chattanooga guard Jordan Frison. We’ve also added Cruz Davis, a combo guard from Hofstra, and Christian Harmon, a wing from Arkansas State, to the list. Christan Hammond (different Christian) committed to NC State today. Mizzou was connected to Jalan Haralson and Aidan Sherell, as well as Bryson Tiller and Jamier Jones.

if there is information behind a paywall ANYWHERE (On3, Rivals, 247sports, RockM+, etc), we are not posting it here. If something is shared publicly (via Twitter, BlueSky, Instagram), we will add it to this post.

There are sites where you can pay for and sub and get more information, if you want more, you can subscribe to them. I encourage anyone reading this post to understand the stance I’m taking here because following recruiting is hard work, and the reason those things are paywalled is because of the amount of work that goes into following it and reporting on it. I believe if you are that passionate about following it, you should support that work. That includes all the linked sites above, even the ones I’m not a part of.

We expect Missouri to be far more active in the Transfer Portal this year versus last. A year ago, they were looking to supplement their younger talent and build around Mark Mitchell. This season, it’s all about Jason Crowe, Jr. So the roster spots available may be limited. We have a transfer portal primer, and a roster math post, both to break down where things stand.

We will also have far more information available at Rockm.Plus. To be frank, if you’re a portal junkie like we are, it makes a lot of sense to the day-to-day or hour-by-hour tracking to join us over there. This post will be updated frequently, but we’ll have more intel available on the Forums.

It’s important to keep in mind ‘Contact’ below doesn’t necessarily mean anything serious, as those can come from agents trying to pump their client up.
