OnePlus is set to unveil the Nord CE 6 series in India on May 7, with the company now sharing new details about the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite. Following the confirmation of key information about the Nord CE 6 last week, the latest update focuses on the Lite model, which marks the return of the Nord CE Lite lineup in India after a two-year hiatus. The new device appears to target users looking for smooth gaming, dependable battery life, and long-term software support in the mid-range segment.

Specifications of the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex chipset built on a 4nm process. Paired with UFS 3.1 storage and a 5,300 mm² vapour chamber cooling system, the phone is claimed to deliver stable performance during gaming and multitasking sessions. OnePlus states that the device has crossed an AnTuTu score of 1,030,000, placing it among the stronger performers in its category.

Another highlight is the 6.72-inch Full HD display that supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The screen can dynamically adjust between 1Hz and 120Hz, while certain supported games can reportedly run at up to 144fps. Some shooter titles are also expected to support gameplay at up to 90fps for smoother visuals.

Battery Life and Charging Features

The OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery that is claimed to last up to two days on a single charge. The device supports 45W charging and includes bypass charging support to help control heat during extended gaming sessions. The company also states that the battery is designed to retain up to 80 per cent health after years of usage.

Camera and Software Features

For photography, the phone features a 50-megapixel primary camera with support for 4K video recording, along with an 8-megapixel front camera. It also includes AI-driven editing features such as AI Perfect Shot, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Detail Boost, and AI Reframe. The device will ship with OxygenOS 16 and is promised to receive five years of support. It will be available in two shades, such as Hyper Black and Vivid Mint.
