Pussycat Dolls 2026 Reunion: Who’s In, Who’s Out?

Pussycat Dolls Reignite the Stage: A New Era, But Not Without a Whisper of the Past

Two decades after bursting onto the global music scene, the iconic Pussycat Dolls are back, much to the elation of their devoted fanbase. Once a dominant force in the late 2000s, the group has resurfaced, proving they’ve lost none of their signature flair. However, this highly anticipated reunion marks a significant shift in the lineup, with a core trio leading the charge.

Who’s Back in the Dollhouse?

The familiar faces gracing the stage once more are none other than Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, and Ashley Roberts. These three powerhouse performers have donned their signature latex and are poised to once again conquer the world’s stages.

Their return was officially confirmed on a UK radio show, where the ladies declared with undeniable energy, “We’re back! And we’re going on tour.” Nicole Scherzinger, who has spent recent years captivating audiences on Broadway, revealed that the experience ignited a deep longing for the camaraderie and thrill of performing with her bandmates. “I miss my girls and I miss touring,” she confessed, sparking immediate excitement for a potential global tour.

The announcement followed a sly tease on social media, featuring a new ‘PCD Forever’ logo. Adding to the buzz, their first new single, ‘Club Song’, was released concurrently with the reunion news. This marks the beginning of the global ‘PCD Forever Tour’, slated to commence on June 5th. Furthermore, fans can anticipate the reissuing of their seminal albums, ‘PCD’ and ‘Doll Domination’, on May 8th, offering a nostalgic deep dive into their discography.

Echoes of Exclusion: Original Members Speak Out

While the Pussycat Dolls’ comeback has generated immense excitement, the narrative isn’t without its complexities. Two original members, Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta, have publicly expressed their feelings of exclusion from the current reunion tour.

Carmit Bachar, 51, took to Instagram on March 18th to share her perspective. She stated that she had not been contacted about the group’s decision to move forward with the reunion and learned of the plans simultaneously with the public. Bachar, who played a pivotal role in the group’s foundational years, conveyed that she would have appreciated direct communication regarding these significant developments.

Similarly, Jessica Sutta, 43, shared her disappointment on March 15th. While acknowledging that she wouldn’t have been able to participate in the global tour due to “ongoing health issues,” she found the news of the reunion difficult to process and wished for prior notification.

“When rumours about the three girls began circulating, I did try to reach out privately for several months,” Sutta revealed in her statement. “I didn’t receive a response until the night before the announcement, which meant I didn’t have much time to prepare for the reaction that followed online.”

Despite the blindsiding nature of the announcement, both Bachar and Sutta expressed gratitude for their time with the Pussycat Dolls during their 2000s heyday. “I genuinely wish the girls a successful tour and nothing but the best moving forward,” Sutta posted. “I’m grateful for the experiences and memories I had with PCD, and I’ll always hold that chapter of my life close to my heart.”

The Pussycat Dolls: A Look Back at Their Journey

The ‘PCD Forever Tour’ in 2026 is set to kick off on June 5th, marking a significant moment for the group and their fans.

This current reunion follows a proposed 2020 tour that would have featured Scherzinger, Roberts, Sutta, Wyatt, and Bachar. However, that ambitious plan was ultimately postponed due to the global pandemic.

The Pussycat Dolls’ meteoric rise to fame began not as a music act, but as a modern burlesque troupe founded by Robin Antin in the mid-90s. It wasn’t until 2003 that a pivotal deal with Interscope Records transformed them into the chart-topping musical phenomenon we know today.

Their debut album, ‘PCD’, released in 2005, spawned a string of global hits including ‘Don’t Cha’, ‘Stickwitu’, ‘Beep’, and ‘Buttons’. These anthems propelled them to the forefront of the music industry, solidifying their status as one of the best-selling artists of 2006. At their peak, the lineup consisted of Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Melody Thornton, Carmit Bachar, and Jessica Sutta.

However, the group’s initial run was relatively short-lived. After releasing just two albums, the Pussycat Dolls officially disbanded in February 2010. Despite efforts to revitalise the group around Scherzinger, she too eventually departed later that year, marking the end of an era.
