RedMagic 11s Pro Unveiled by NBTC

Nubia is preparing for another update in its range of gaming phones. The RedMagic 11s Pro has recently appeared in a certification listing, which typically indicates that the product is moving closer to its official launch.

The listing was published by Thailand’s NBTC and confirms both the name of the device and its model number, NX809J. Although there are no details about specifications included in the document, this is not unusual. However, it does serve as confirmation that the device is indeed on its way.

One aspect that is somewhat confusing is the model number. NX809J has previously been associated with the RedMagic 11 Pro. It’s worth noting that when the 11 Pro was launched globally, it already incorporated many features from the Pro+ version. This suggests that there may be some overlap once again with the 11s Pro.

This overlap makes it difficult to determine exactly what the 11s Pro is intended to offer. It could simply be a reworked version tailored for global markets, or there might be some minor improvements. RedMagic has taken both approaches in the past.

At this point, there has been no official announcement regarding the specifications of the 11s Pro. However, speculation is already underway among tech enthusiasts. One recurring topic of discussion is the battery capacity. The Chinese version of the 11 Pro comes with an 8,000mAh battery, while the global variant slightly reduced it to 7,500mAh in favor of faster charging. There is a possibility that the 11s Pro will revert to a larger battery.

In addition to this, the phone is expected to maintain the same core design philosophy. This includes a flagship Snapdragon processor, active cooling with an integrated fan, a high refresh rate display, shoulder triggers, and other hardware features typically found in gaming phones. These elements have become a defining characteristic of the RedMagic brand.

The current 11 Pro is already a strong performer in terms of raw power, so this new iteration may focus more on subtle refinements rather than significant changes.

As of now, there is no official release date, but with the certification process completed, more information is likely to emerge soon.
