Scott McCristal Moves On from MAFS Romance
Scott McCristal, the groom from Married At First Sight, has officially moved on from his relationship with TV bride Gia Fleur. The 33-year-old Gold Coast finance broker confirmed exclusively to a local publication that he is now dating Brienna Stockdale, a registered nurse, cosmetic injector, and model from the same region.
The couple made their relationship public at an exclusive yacht party hosted by Prestige Rental on board the Queen Royal. They looked love-struck as they celebrated the beginning of their new chapter together.
Scott revealed that he and Brienna have been quietly dating since the start of the year after reconnecting following his dramatic split from Gia in October. What’s interesting is that Brienna had actually known Scott before his reality TV fame — she had treated him at her aesthetic clinic before he entered the MAFS experiment.
“I don’t want to hide it anymore,” Scott said. “I want to be able to show my girlfriend, because I’m proud of her and I’m proud of the relationship I have.”

When asked if publicly introducing Brienna marked the end of his MAFS chapter, Scott was clear. “One hundred per cent,” he said.
Scott explained that while he had known Brienna casually before the show, romance didn’t blossom until after filming wrapped. “She did my Botox,” he said. To make his move, he used what he admits was a playful excuse. “Just after the start of the year I messaged her and said, ‘Have you got some face cream at the clinic?'” he laughed. “There was more my subtle way-in. But she knew I was full of it.”
That message sparked a romance that quickly escalated. Their first date included stand-up paddleboarding at Tallebudgera Creek, followed by dinner on the Gold Coast. “We had a wholesome time,” Scott said. “We hit it off from there.”
The pair only made things official last week. For Brienna, Scott’s personality was an immediate attraction. “His loud, bubbly personality,” she told the publication on Saturday.

Scott said their relationship feels completely different from his previous experience on MAFS. “Trust, respect, gratefulness – the politeness I get, and just the understanding of Brie,” he said. “She’s in a similar space in terms of social media and business and has the same sort of goals. She understands me. We’re so aligned it works well.”
He added that their lifestyles complement each other perfectly. “Bree gets up at 5am, we go to the gym together, we’re both on our laptops, we’re both working hard. She’s got high energy like me.”

Scott’s new romance comes after his highly publicised breakup from mother-of-one Gia, which unfolded in explosive scenes both on and off screen. Following the MAFS reunion, Scott accused Gia of making him feel belittled throughout their relationship. “She made me feel like s***,” he previously told the publication. “I’ll never let someone walk over me again.”
Meanwhile, Gia has since moved on with boyfriend Alan Wallace, with the publication previously revealing she first connected with him while still filming MAFS.
