Tom Brady Celebrates Mother’s Day with Family and Friends
Tom Brady recently took to social media to celebrate Mother’s Day, expressing his love and gratitude for the women who have played significant roles in his life. Among those he recognized were his ex-partners Bridget Moynahan and Gisele Bündchen, as well as his sisters and his mother, Galynn.
In a post on Instagram, Brady shared a heartfelt message: “Happy Mother’s Day.” The caption accompanied a photo that captured a tender moment between Gisele Bündchen and their son, Jack Moynahan, as he smiled at the camera. Although Jack is now 18, the image was taken years earlier when he was much younger and not yet towering over his parents. These days, even the 6ft 4in Brady finds himself looking up at his eldest son.
Brady also took the opportunity to acknowledge his sisters—Julie, Maureen, and Nancy—and all the amazing mothers around the world. His posts included images of his three children sleeping in bed with Bündchen and a touching photo of his mother, Galynn, cradling her granddaughter.
“Happy Mother’s Day to the best mom in the world,” Brady wrote. “This picture perfectly sums up who you are, Mom.”
Throughout his NFL career, Brady often ended his on-field television interviews with a simple but meaningful greeting: “Hi mom.” This phrase became a signature part of his public persona, reflecting the deep bond he shares with his mother. Galynn has been a strong presence in his life, having overcome breast cancer in April 2017.
Despite their divorce, Brady and Bündchen continue to maintain a positive relationship, frequently acknowledging each other on social media. Brady made a similar Mother’s Day post last year, expressing thanks to Moynahan, Bündchen, his sisters, and his mother.
The couple split in 2022 after 13 years of marriage. They share two children: 16-year-old Benjamin and 13-year-old Vivian Lake. Meanwhile, Bündchen has another child with her current partner, Joaquim Valente.
Moynahan and Brady never married, but they discovered they were expecting a child after splitting up in late 2006. In an interview with Howard Stern in 2020, Brady reflected on this unique situation.
“Next thing you know, I found out that Bridget was pregnant with our son,” he said. “So that was a very unique time… and it challenged me in a lot of ways, again, to grow up in a different way. It was very hard for [Bündchen] to think she fell in love with this guy, and then now this guy’s ex-girlfriend’s pregnant. And it was very challenging for my son’s mom, [Moynahan] because she didn’t envision that either,” he added.
A Busy Sunday for Brady
In addition to his Mother’s Day posts, Brady also promoted his Las Vegas Aces, the WNBA team he co-owns with Las Vegas Raiders boss Mark Davis. His final post featured a shot of his WNBA championship ring, which he and the Aces players received on Saturday.
